Very educational and interesting tour through the city center of Amsterdam. The guide, Menoek, was extremely friendly and knew all kinds of fun facts; a real local!
Beste Vincent, Bedankt voor de leuke review! Blij om te horen dat je genoten hebt van de tour, hopelijk heeft deze bijgedragen aan een geslaagd dagje Amsterdam met je oma. :-) Wie weet tot ziens! Lieve groetjes, Manouk
Honestly one of the best tours we’ve done. It didn’t feel like a typical “tour” at all, more like walking through the city with someone who genuinely loves it and knows all the stories behind it. Our guide really took the time to tune into what we found interesting, which made it feel super personal. We ended up seeing places we would have completely missed on our own, and the history actually stuck because of the way it was told. It was relaxed, interesting, and just a really nice way to experience the city. Would 100% recommend this if you want something a bit more real and less touristy.
Thank you for the amazing review and recommendation! So glad to hear you enjoyed the tour and were open to visit less obvious sights. :-) It was a pleasure guiding you around, I had a fun time with the both of you. Hope to see you again somewhere around the world, take care! Warm regards, Manouk
Knowledgeable, kind, fun and flexible. Kids loved her, and even confessed at first they thought they would get bored. Turned out to be lots of fun!
Dear Pablo, Thank you so much for the great review! I had such a great time with you, your wife and lovely kids. I'm happy to hear they weren't bored, even with the amount of history during the tour. :-) Hope you had a great stay in Amsterdam, maybe see you back here or in Mexico! Warm regards, Manouk

Dear Sukhleen, Thank you so much for your sweet words! It was a real pleasure showing you and your parents around, hope you did some great shopping afterwards. :-) Always welcome back in Europe and hope to see you again either here or in Australia! Warm regards, Manouk
The absolute sweetest guide I could ask for! Incredibly informative as well as curious to get to know who her tourers are that trip. I went alone but not once was it awkward or uncomfortable; I felt like I was chatting with an old friend. Thank you so, so much for making this trip so fun and interesting! I had so much fun walking back around the areas after the tour and feeling giddy with excitement to know exactly where I was and what the history was.
Dear Emersyn, What a heartwarming message—thank you so much! I absolutely loved having you on the tour, and I’m so happy you felt comfortable and excited exploring afterwards. Hope you had an amazing birthday trip to Amsterdam, and a fun and not-too-awkward birthday ;-). Always welcome back! Manouk
My wife and I had an absolutely amazing tour. Our guide Manouk was by far the best tour guide we have ever experienced. This young lady was so friendly and extremely knowledgable in showing us plenty of hidden local treasures. We would have no hesitation in highly recommending Manouk to anyone wishing to do a more personal type tour.

Nice route and sympathetic guide who had answers to all my questions. Discusses both the history and current problems and future plans of the neighborhood. Good tips for food etc. received!
Bedankt voor de leuke recensie, blij dat je het leuk hebt gehad tijdens de tour! Hopelijk heb je veel inzicht gekregen in deze mooie buurt. :-) Hopelijk tot snel in een van de andere tours! Manouk
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our city walking tour with Manouk. She was extremely professional but also fun to tour with and she had so many interesting and relevant facts to share. We found her very knowledgeable with regards to the history of Amsterdam and the route that we walked gave us a very broad insight into Amsterdam both past and present . Manouk was also happy to adapt the walk to our interests, which were history and architecture. She was very well prepared for the tour and produced maps and pictures that complimented her commentary. She also provided us with little local edible treats which was a really nice touch. I would absolutely recommend Manouk to anyone wishing to experience Amsterdam with a local.
Dear Louise, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! I'm thrilled to hear that you both enjoyed the walking tour this much. It was a pleasure showing you around Amsterdam, and I truly appreciate your recommendation. Wishing you all the best, and I hope to welcome you back someday! Manouk

Dear Barbara, Thank you for your sweet words! Even though it was very cold, I’m so glad you still had a great time. Hope you had a wonderful journey, and who knows, maybe we’ll meet again in the future! Warm regards, Manouk
