Amanhecer e pôr-do-sol Experience Hot Air Balloon Ride Mallorca

My wife and I absolutely loved this experience and would recommend it to anyone holidaying in the area. We met at Bonanza Restaurant, where the team greeted us, and the balloons took off from a piece of land just across from the restaurant. It was great being able to watch everything being set up before the flight. We were given a quick safety briefing, shown how to get into the basket, and then we were up and away. The views were stunning — out over the sea and mountains — and watching the sunset on the longest day while enjoying a glass of cava was really special. Carlos, our pilot, was brilliant, and all the staff were friendly, professional and clearly love what they do. We landed in a field attached to a holiday villa, much to the surprise of the residents, then helped pack the balloon away before being driven back to the meeting point. A beautiful, unique and memorable experience. Thank you!

My two sisters and I went on the sunrise hot air balloon ride. I didn't expect to watch the balloon be unfolded and filled with air and then go up in flight and help with deflating it and folding it up again. It was a very interesting experience! While up in the air, it was surreal - so peaceful and beautiful. Our guide was so kind to pick us up and bring us home. One of the best things I liked was that he took photos and videos of us that he sent to us as part of the cost. They are invaluable!

First time in an air balloon and amazing experience. We were sent the time and meeting location the day before, from there they took us to a nearby field for the flight. The staff were really friendly and went through everything before getting in the balloon. The views and sunrise were amazing. The landing was so smooth, we just gently drifted down. The driver follows the balloon and is there when you land once the balloon has been folded away we were driven back to the meeting place. They take photos and videos throughout the trip which were emailed straight away and the glass of bubbly was a nice touch. Before booking we read reviews for other companies and there were comments about having to set up and pack away the balloon, not this trip everything is done by the staff. Would highly recommend booking with IB Ballooning for the best experience.

This hot air balloon flight was one of the most memorable experiences we had in Mallorca. We chose the sunset ride, which turned out to be on the longest day of the year, and the weather was pristine. The pilots arrived on time, baskets and balloons in tow and got through all the setup and safety briefings as quickly as possible to get us up into the air. We were nervous, I’m sure everyone is a little of it’s their first time. Don’t be concerned though, the liftoff and flight are so smooth you forget you’re even moving. Just floating up and admiring all the views as the ground falls away. Just stunning. A midair Cava (not Champagne) toast topped it all off as we admired the sunset and landscape. A couple of notes, it’s close quarters, it’s already hot in Mallorca and there’s air of heat from the burner. Don’t dress like you think it’ll be cold up in the sky. You’ll also have to hop over the basket and walk through some grassy fields so consider decent shoes. Setup and breakdown takes a little bit, but helping out speeds it up and it’s good fun. Overall we had just an amazing time and would 100% do it again. Thank you to all the IB Ballooning crew for their hard work and great attitudes.

Excellent service, very pleasant pilot, with a lovely personality. There was a bit of confusion about the meeting point, though we were starting off from Cala millor, but this was a mistake on the booking site, not the balloon company. I give this experience my highest recommendation.

This tour was exactly as described. Great communication with the tour operator from the start of booking. Easy meeting point near the beach. Balloon set up was across the street where we were paired with our group and driver to watch/and assist with balloon inflation. Balloon baskets were roomy and you didn’t feel like you were on top of each other. Beautiful flight across the island for the sunset. Landing area changes each flight depending on the wind direction but our guide was easily able to find an open field for our landing. Truck met us there and after packing up the balloon we were driven back to our original meeting location. Balloon pilot took some pic of our group during the flight and emailed them to us free of charge. ( you can also take your own photos throughout the flight) At the end, you receive a flight certificate to document your experience.

It was a magnificent experience. You do not feel any vertigo at any moment, only a great sense of stillness. Both the pilot, Carlos, and the other two members of the ground team seemed to us to be excellent professionals.

The balloon ride was simply unforgettable! Floating over the landscape with good friends, enjoying the peace in the air, and experiencing the sunrise from this perspective was something truly special. The organization was excellent, the team very friendly and professional, so one always felt safe and comfortable. The atmosphere in the basket was lively and at the same time magical. An experience that will stay in our memories for a long time. Absolutely recommendable for everyone who wants to share special moments with their loved ones!

The staff were great. Getting up very early to make sunrise was the only down side, but soooo worth it!! Carlos was a fun and excellent pilot. A glass of Champagne included. Could toast our 44th wedding anniversary.
