If I have to rate the three experiences. #1 Ravello, #2 Positano, then #3 Amalfi. While Positano is pretty, the significant besch/promenade construction ruined the experience. Amalfi is just OK. Ravello is the best. In Ravello, definitely check out the Ruffalo Estate Gardens! The ferry from Positano to Amalfi offered some good views of the coast and small towns between. Our guide Luccio was good.
Thank you for sharing your feedback! We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed your day trip along the Amalfi Coast and appreciated the beauty of Ravello, especially the stunning Villa Rufolo gardens. It’s also great to know that the ferry ride between Positano and Amalfi provided memorable views, and that Lucio contributed positively to your experience as your driver. We understand that construction in some areas can affect the visit, and we appreciate your honest observations, they help us continue to improve our tours. At Tempio Travel Sorrento, we aim to provide well-organized, scenic, and enriching experiences along the coast, and we’re happy that Ravello stood out as a highlight for you. Thank you again for your review!
Visited Positano and Amalfi and it was a great tour with amazing sights and the guide Alin was very nice, friendly and helpful. Another good aspect to use a private tour rather than the public bus to visit Amalfi and Positano is that you don't lose hours and hours in the very big queue for the buses and avoid also the risk of not catching a bus back to Sorrento at the end of the day.
Our driver Michael took us through the Amalfi Coast region in his luxury MPV. We discussed every aspect of our day ahead with him and agreed from the outset how much time we needed in each stop - Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. On reflection, Amalfi itself was underwhelming however our other destinations were very much worth the time and effort to get there. Highly recommended for your stay in Sorrento using this operator
A total embarrassment, they sell you a tour in Spanish and the driver-guide not knowing how to speak Spanish, we were not informed that in the second point Amalfi would force us to make a boat trip at an additional cost of 20 euros per passenger, which did not allow us to know more this beautiful place of the Amalfi coast and be nothing more than 20 minutes, following the tours we were going to arrive to Ravello but stopped to lunch, the tours was without lunch, therefore we were forced to eat lunch and lose more than an hour and a half, so when we arrived to Ravello we were given only 30 minutes to meet him. You can not understand that you make a trip to know 3 beautiful places and you can only enjoy a little more than an hour of a departure of more than 8 hours. Pretty expensive excursion, without being explained anything a total waste.
The tour company was fine and the places visited were fine- so nothing bad to say about personnel or itinerary. The crowds and traffic were so horrific that we enjoyed nothing. We could not see the area or visit the towns because of the Thousands of people in such a small area. No one to blame- just not worthwhile. Don’t be misled by movies you have seen or brochures. Totally chaotic
This is not really a tour of 3 towns, more like a visit to 3 sets of small stores selling the same tourist stuff. The best thing is not having to drive or park. No other value added
All round excellent experience. Guide was very helpful and pleasant. All very good amazing sights. Would recommend
We were in shock when we were sent a driver not a tour guide. We requested a English speaker but we got an Italian guy who did not speak English and did not know much about the history of the Almalfi Coast. we were a small group and we were very disappointed because we did not get what we requested/paid for and not what they advertise. The gentleman was very nice but we could barely communicate.
This was a nice day out. However it didn’t include lunch as this says … they offer you to have lunch at a nice restaurant but it’s additional. Beautiful scenery
Kudos to our tour guide and driver Mariano who kept us entertained throughout with trivia about amalfi coast towns, took numerous photos of us and ensured the tour started and ended on time despite crazy traffic. We were lucky with the weather and really enjoyed our time in positano, amalfi and ravello. Lunch at scala was tasty and definitely not light. It included bruschetta, wine, pasta choices and lemon sorbet for dessert. Would recommend the optional boat tour at amalfi, gives a whole different perspective of amalfi from the water and only takes an hour. Overall we r really glad we opted for this tour.
