We have just got back from a tour along the Amalfi Coast, stopping in Positano, Ravello & Maiori with lunch at Torre Normanna. Our driver & guide was Nando & he was wonderful. Warm, welcoming & knowledgeable. It was a fabulous day with lots of laughs along the way & some lovely pictures taken by Nando! I would highly recommend this company. Booking was very easy & communication was excellent. And Nando was the best guide! Thank you for a wonderful day!
My family and I booked two tours with the company. We went to Pompeii and the next day we toured the towns of the Amalfi Coast. Gennaro was our guide for both. He was awesome!! So fun and knowledgeable! The tours were both seamless. They were easy to set up and we were sent information right away. I would 100% recommend touring with this company. We had 7 people with a young child and they took care of everything!
Wonderful experience with the man, the myth, the legend…Nando! We saw all the most beautiful locations in the Amalfi Coast and Nando is very knowledgeable about the area and history. He did everything possible to make our day perfect. He knows all the best places to buy goods at a fair price. He even made our lunch reservation for us. Luisa was so easy to work with for the booking. I also booked transfers to and from Naples. Highly recommend this company!
Our Silver Star experience began with private car ride from Naples train station to our Rental property in Furore, Amalfi Coast. Our driver was Massimo and he was so friendly and helped organize some trips while we were in Amalfi coast. He was such a welcome site at train station with our name on sign greeting us and directing into beautiful air conditioned vehicle. The next day got even better when we met Gennaro., our personal driver and tour guide of the Amalfi Coast. His outgoing personality and knowledge of Amalfi coast was beyond compare. He brought to all the areas we requested and even set up reservations for a beautiful lunch overlooking the sea. Simply delicious food and breathtaking views. He found the best place for my daughter and myself to get handmade sandals in Positano. A must thing to do in Positano while shopping. We were thrilled to have Gennaro be our driver again for our return to Rome from Amalfi Coast. He took us to a private tour of Pompeii ruins. Our guide and her family originated from Pompeii. Must thing to do in your life time. We also must thank Luisa for actually organizing all our tours and pick ups and drop offs. Gennaro became family after all the time we spent together. We loved how he thanked each town we visited after we left. We now thank you Italy for memorable and truly wonderful experience. We had an amazing day touring the Amalfi Coast! Nando was our driver and we had such a fun time with him. He was knowledgeable, brought us to great picture spots to capture all of family moments, and gave us great recommendations for food and shopping. It was such a great day and experience for my family!
Six adults took the Amalfi Coast private tour. A Mercedes van was used for transport and was very nice and comfortable. Mauro was our driver - on time, very friendly and answered all questions we had, stops were made at highlight viewpoints. Despite the on and off rain, it was a great experience. Mauro guided us to a nice restaurant with nice views. He also provided several recommendations on where to shop, what too see and places to eat in Sorrento.
We had a most spectacular day with Lorenzo on our tour of the Amalfi coast. His personality and familiarity with the area was superb. We went to a number of places that are usual tourist places but we also went to some places that I would say very few people know about. It was here that his expertise and guiding was most appreciated. Very highly recommended and we wish we could take him with us to our next stop in Italy! Gratzie Lorenzo!
My family and I booked a two day tour through Luisa Tizzano (Sorrento Silver Star Tour). From the start dealing with Luisa was a great experience. She answered all my questions prior to booking and was never pushy. We had the absolute pleasure of having Lorenzo as our tour guide for both days. He took us to beautiful places to eat, stopped at scenic spots so we can take pictures and made sure we had time to enjoy each location. We had such a great time with Ferdinando on our tour of the Amalfi Coast, Ravello, Maiori, and Minori. This was the second time we had him as our tour guide, and once again he was exceptional. He was very flexible with our pickup time and we never felt rushed. Would highly recommend Nando for this experience!
My family of four came to celebrate my son’s graduation from thigh school and Luisa at Sorrento Silverstar was absolutely a delight to work with. She helped us plan our day and even accommodated a last minute time and day change. And I cannot say enough about our private driver Gennara. The Mercedes minivan was comfy and pristine and Gennaro arrived with a smile and perfect English and amazed us all day with his knot of the area and his charming stories about all the key sites and hidden gems in Positano, Amalfi, Attani, Minore Maori and Ravello. He took us to an incredible ceramics store in Conca dei Marini and a picture perfect spot for lunch across the street Conca Azurre. Gennaro was great with my family and made everyone feel welcome and happy. It was an awesome day! Thank you Luisa’s and Gennaro!
