I had a wonderful day exploring northern Jordan. If you are looking for a guide who is genuinely kind and goes out of his way to make your trip special, then book this tour and ask for Anees. He made the journey between Jerash, Ajloun, and Umm Qais seamless and enjoyable. What really stood out was his thoughtfulness—at one point, I happened to mention how much I liked the local wildflowers, and without me even asking, Anees found a safe spot to pull over just so I could take photos of the poppies. It was such a kind gesture and really showed how much he cares about his guests' experience. Between the incredible Roman history in Jerash and the stunning views, Anees made sure I was comfortable and well-informed throughout the day. I highly recommend booking this tour if you want a stress-free tour of historical Jordan
It was a nice tour to visit a few beautiful places around Amman. Thanks to our driver Mahmoud Alkhawaja to take care of us and give us a good advice about restaurant for lunch. Lovely experience!
I had an excellent day tour from Amman visiting Jerash, Umm Qays, and Ajloun Castle. The itinerary was well organized, and the sights were impressive—especially the Roman ruins of Jerash and the views from Umm Qays. Our driver, Hassan Al‑Khatib, was very kind, helpful, and professional. The car was clean, comfortable, and made the long drives enjoyable.
Saadeh was a great driver and was very helpful along the way. I would recommend him and will book him next time I come to Jordan!
The pickup at hotel by the driver Ayman happened on time. The first stop after almost 2 hours drive was Umm Quais. So early it was very empty here and so you could enjoy the atmosphere. It takes 90 minutes here. After another hour of driving we arrived at the fortress of Ajloun, which unfortunately was typical for the season in the clouds. It was a little busier here. The viewing did not last an hour. Afterwards we went to the unincluded lunch. Unfortunately, this was in a purely tourist place with nevertheless inflated prices. On a private tour, I wished for something more authentic... After almost 45 minutes of driving, the highlight: Jerash! The excavations are very impressive, so you can spend 2 hours here. The return journey took another good hour, so we arrived at the hotel on time. The private tour has the advantage of individual time allocation. You never have to wait for group members. There's a price to pay. Even in a small group I can imagine the tour well.
I enjoyed this trip. It was a long day but we saw 3 amazing sights in the north of Jordan which normally might be intimidating to reach without a local driver. Particularly the viewpoint of Israel, Syria (Golan) and Lebanon mountains from Umm Qais felt moving, and we were about the only tourists there at that time. Aljoun Castle had beautiful views, and Jerash was impressively large and well-preserved Roman ruins. Do note this booking is only including the transportation itself and not actually a guided tour of the sites, but I didn't feel the need to pay for a guide at any of the sites. The lunch stop (not included in the price) of mansaf at a local restaurant was tasty. I’m glad I chose the group tour, as my group were all solo travelers and everyone was fun and chatty! Our driver Mahmoud Alkhawaja was great too.
I had an excellent day on this tour. Our driver, Emad, was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful—he shared insights about Jordanian food, culture, and politics. Since I needed to catch a JETT bus to Aqaba after the tour, he checked the schedules, helped book my ticket, and even drove me to the bus station. Um Qais, Ajloun, and Jerash were all captivating; Jerash in particular impressed me with the scale and superb preservation of its ruins. This well-organized tour efficiently covers the main highlights of northern Jordan—highly recommended.
All visited places are extremely interesting and the tour is well catered to fit enough time in each and, with group's accordance, small adjustments can be done to accommodate more or less time in each site. Pick-up service is so off the charts and driver was incredibly friendly and acknowledged on the sites and more, Ibrahem Althodan, went above and beyond to make sure all was in place for us to enjoy it.
Had an amazing experience exploring northern Jordan with Faisal! The food he recommended was incredible, and he made sure we tried the best local spots. He’s a genuinely kind and friendly guy, and the time we spent in the car with him was fun, comfortable, and full of great conversation. Highly recommend him — thank you, Faisal, for an unforgettable day!
Really great day trip experience. Saadeh was a great driver and very friendly. I enjoyed meeting the people within my group and had a great time exploring at each stop. I booked this tour last minute and I am very grateful I did. Would recommend to anyone visiting Amman!
