We booked a private tour and it was one of the best things we did. It was also very very reasonably priced if you add up all the Viator tours you would have to book. The floating market and train track Viator booking alone is about $40 per person when you include floating boat tickets. The floating market is overcrowded and over priced. Our driver actually took us to a back entrance/other market first. They started us there and that market actually has nicer items wasn’t crowded. They then merge into the saduak floating market. It saved us so much time not having to wait in the lines and crowds and we got to see 2 markets. If you want the location, message me. We then did the train and because we didn’t go with a tour, we were able to get a really nice picture without feeling rushed and has plenty of space to watch the train approach right by us. We did a lot of shopping there too as the vendors are willing to bargain A LOT. We bargained a 1000 bahts item to 150 and the same thing was being sold for 2000 at the floating market. Note: For both places bring cash. They say they accept credit cards but most of the shops don’t or charge you a lot more for it. You also get better bargaining deals if you pay cash. Ayutthaya historical park is a really nice place to visit especially if you’re into history. My advice, get a tour guide or download the info ahead of time as there aren’t a lot of signs and info boards. When we went a lot of things were under restoration including the Buddha so you really can’t see the true glory. If you have time and love history it’s worth a stop otherwise I think you’re better off staying in Bangkok as there are so many things to do there. Note: all the parks say they take credit card but when we tried to pay they would lie and say the machine needs to charge or that it’s not working. We unfortunately did not have cash so we ended up insisting that we’d pay twice at another park or some other solution and then they finally gave in and were like okay fine you can pay with card, so literally they were lying the whole time. It really turned me off the national park and made me wonder if the money even goes toward the park or if something else is happening. If you have questions or need tips on Thailand travel, reach out, happy to share everything we learned. Insta: @TheShahLALand

Our driver was prompt, and very nice. She also had a good knowledge of Bangkok and gave us ideas for stopping at other locations. The management office has good communication through whatsapp before, during, and after our trip and made sure we were satisfied with any issues we had. Thank you
Great way to see bangkok without worrying about walking in the heat or getting haggled by taxis. The driver was amazing.
