Kayaks were in great condition. We were provided with a helpful map. We saw 10 manatees, an otter, multiple alligators, and likely over 100 turtles. It was less busy on a Monday, so we had long stretches of the springs to ourselves. Drop off and pick-up was easy. (This was a self-guided tour).

Great communication , upon arrival we met Ryan and he guided us as to the days plans. Got us in the water and sent us on our way. When we ended gave him a call and it was a super easy pickup! Would do it again!!! Beautiful and easy kayak adventure

The Silver Springs experience is wonderful. The process is near perfect. The folks are friendly and courteous. Nothing like paddling through crystal clear water with someting to see around every bend. Family fun adventure. I recommend it for everyone!

Ryan and son Josh are awesome. I have been on many trips with them and have always had a great experience.

Ryan called me as we were launching at Silver Springs State Park. He told me he'd be waiting for us when we were done, and he was. Ryan helped us load our kayaks and then drove us safely back to our vehicle to unload our kayaks. The whole experience could not have gone any more smoothly. I will be contacting Ryan next time we go kayaking at Silver Springs. Thank you, Ryan!

Springs were beautiful! Self-guided 5 mile trip! Took my husband and 2 teenagers 3 hrs to do. The monkeys and otters are on the path to the right after launching. Saw 1 manatee in the main area. Saw 2 additional around mile 2-3. Not worth the 5 mile trip.....just pretty scenery. Should have stayed in the main area near the launch and near the glass bottom boats; you would have seen everything you needed to see

Absolutely beautiful. The highlight of our trip was the 5 mile paddle down the river. Weather was perfect and we saw an abundance of animals.

Three of us had a great kayaking experience with Discovery Kayak & SUP at Silver Springs State Park this past weekend. Ryan Toler, owner and tour guide, supplied all the necessary equipment. He also verified who was experienced and who needed instructions before setting out. Ryan grew up in the area, so he knows the springs and river like the back of his hand. He shared the history of the area from pre-Spanish times to the present. He even calls the various reptiles, turtles and birds by name. We saw a manatee which he was able to capture via an underwater video and share with everyone. Plus he staged the three of us to get a photo for a memory keepsake. The weather was beautiful, and the paddling was easy. It could not have been a better experience. I highly recommend Discovery Kayak & SUP for a special Nature retreat.

We booked the 3-4 hour unguided kayak trip at Silver Springs with Discovery. I especially liked the comfort of the kayaks. The seats were comfortable and had supportive backs. Foot rests were adjustable and each kayak had dry storage. The paddles had rings around the stem to stop water from running down to your hands and into the kayak. We were launched into the river and had an absolutely amazing 4 hours. Saw all kinds of birds, alligators, turtles, manatees, and monkeys! The constant current moved us along so some of the time we were able to relax and drift. Of course, the water was crystal clear! At the end of the trip, we were driven back to the parking lot where we left our car. Highly recommend taking this trip with Discovery Kayak Tours!
