O ponto de encontro. Um edifício icônico que representa a chegada do século XX. Localizado na Explanada de España, representa o estilo modernista da cidade e é um edifício que marcou uma era no turismo e no desenvolvimento urbano. A partir daqui, começaremos nossa rota pela cidade para descobrir seus cantos mais encantadores.
A prefeitura é o centro da cidade, de onde se estendem a Calle Mayor e o bairro de Santa Cruz. É um ambiente cheio de vida, lojas, monumentos e restaurantes onde os visitantes podem se deliciar com os modos de vida, paisagens urbanas e nossos melhores produtos. A prefeitura foi construída no século XVIII e abriga o ponto de medição de todas as alturas da Espanha.
Uma das vistas mais icônicas da cidade e do bairro antigo. Uma igreja barroca que encapsula a história da cidade e de onde podemos desfrutar de vistas fabulosas. A igreja fazia parte das muralhas da cidade e abriga uma interessante coleção de arte barroca. Bem ao lado fica o museu de arte contemporânea, de onde teremos vistas panorâmicas únicas da cidade.
O Castelo de Santa Bárbara foi a origem da cidade muçulmana de Alicante. Ele tem três períodos de construção e explica os eventos mais importantes que a cidade viveu, desde a conquista muçulmana até a Guerra Civil Espanhola. Passaremos pela Puerta de la Santa Faz para chegar ao "matxo" do castelo (a parte superior), e então você desfrutará de uma bebida em um dos terraços mais mágicos da cidade.

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and the history of the area that he provided was excellent. The castle was amazing!

My wife and I met Javier. We started with a shuttle ride up to Santa Barbara Castle. As the shuttle ride wound its way up the castle Javier began telling us about the history of some of the sights/buildings the shuttle passed. When we made our way to the castle the history of the castle from the early beginnings to the present day continued. Javier was an amazing guide through history of not only the castle but also Alicante as far as the eyes could see. Our tour of the castle finished by walking down to Alicante through the barrio Santa Cru (?) known for it’s narrow pathways with white homes and blue color. Javier showed us discovered ruins in the city, churches, museums, the large nativity scene and so much more which I can’t describe here. It seemed that every time we turned a corner there was another piece of history which we happened upon. And with every turn there was someone who knew Javier. What could be more of a compliment than in a city that with every turn Javier was seemingly known by so many. Javier we can only say thank you for sharing your knowledge of Alicante and Spain with us. Great job!
Hopefully get the same guide we had. His knowledge, approach, his concerns for our safety and well being were sky high.

I would give this tour company a zero if I could. They didn’t show up and left us stranded. We called them 10 times, sent messages and waited for 45 minutes. They ruined our only day in Alicante. Do not book with this company.

Tour guide never showed up and we tried calling 10 different times and no answer. Contacted Viator to hopefully get refunded.
