E-Mazing time on this e-bike tour on outskirts of Hanoi. It was fabulous to travel down quiet lanes and along river banks over bridges, rice fields, temples and lovely banana Island. Most of the 40k+ is on quieter roads with only some sections need to be on main roads. What a great way to experience the scenery. Our guide (Minh) was very considerate and safety minded navigating the busy roads. The ebikes take all the hard work of cycling and suitable for any ability. They are great quality. If you want to feel like you are cycling you can opt for lowest setting, though I especially liked the turbo boost for getting up the hills!! You should give yourself 5 hours to enjoy the stops, and on hot day the coconut water and the lovely tamarind juice were so refreshing. Really loved the peaceful setting at Co Lao temple, with lotus flowers in season, and also the ripe rice fields and after coming across Long Bien bridge and onto banana Island was a great finish. So many highlights, and great idea for a trip for travellers or those who live in Hanoi and want to enjoy seeing the beauty outside the bustling city. Hope to get to use Electric Smiles again next time in Hoi An or Mai Chau. Thank you Electric Smiles Team!!
Thank you so much for very detailed feedback, we are so glad you had amazing time to see other side of Hanoi. We re looking forward to seeing you in our other tours in Mai Chau, Hoi An and Ninh Binh.
This was a fabulous day - the e-bikes made a near 50 km trip almost effortless. The guide (Lily) was amazing (and resourceful when one e-bike decided it had enough for the day!), the countryside gorgeous, the vegan lunch at the end yummy. The trip largely went off road which was great and Lily very skillfully took across the two or three high traffic crossings...we would highly recommend this tour.
Thank you so much for your valuable feedback. We are looking forward to welcome you back to Viet Nam and explore our E-bike tours in different provinces.
What a blast! The e-bike made the near 50km trip a breeze (maybe wear bike shorts if you have them but not essential). Loved the village and the off road routes were great. A couple of parts of mixing in traffic with or crossing busy roads added some excitement! Lily was an excellent guide! Vegan lunch at the end was fantastic - tasty and nutritious. It was a great way to spend a day -our tour took around 7.5 hrs
We’re so happy to hear from you! Thank you for your valuable feedback.
This experience is was exciting, interesting and exhilarating all at the same time. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and most importantly she took care of us. 10/10
Beautiful place, beautiful tour, beautiful human. Our guide Quan has represented us something very unique about Hanoi. I cannot recommend it high enough.
It's my first time to try this kind of bike and it's such a lovely experience and a great trip to me. Far from the noisy and crowded city, I and my friends cycled along peaceful countryside roads to visit the Ancient Co Loa. We did get more knowledge about our culture and history thru our funny but knowledgeable guide - Mr Hung and the daughter of the Co Loa land - Ms Hien. It can be a great journey for you to be a part of them tour and I would highly recommend them to any friends who would come to Vietnam.
The cycling trip was very fun and gentle on the e-bike. We cycled to the countryside and saw the well-preserved ancient citadel and the local people houses. Throughout the journey, our guide Quan, was a very friendly and enthusiast guide with good knowledge about the sight. We had vegan lunch, which is new to me because I haven't tried rice with a variety of vegetable side dishes like that before. This was such a remarkable tour!
We had such a great morning on this trip- the bikes are very cool, tour guides are excellent and very insightful and the trip we took was great! It was so nice to see a lesser known side of Hanoi and learning about local history. Would definitely recommend :)
Awesomeeee, only one word can desciribe my trip is awesome. Especially the local food at the end of the trip. I had been travelling in Hanoi around 5 days already but I had never try anything like that. I definitely will recommend this trip to my friends. And a deeply thanks to Hien, who made my trip can not get better.
Awesome! I love the pedal assistance which was helping me to pedal and I didn't feel tired at all. The tour guide was friendly and knowledge.everything was perfect. Thank you so much Electric smiles.
