Este é um passeio perfeito para os amantes do patrimônio e da idade medieval! Albi é uma cidade pequena e tranquila, e Cordes sur Ciel é uma pequena vila. Embora a caminhada seja fácil em alby, é íngreme em Cordes sur Ciel, mas não se preocupe, se houver alguma dificuldade de alguns viajantes para caminhar, eu subo a colina.

De manhã partimos para a cidade de Albi, um novo Patrimônio Mundial da UNESCO. Entre os edifícios da cidade é a catedral de Santa Cecília, uma obra-prima da arquitetura gótica do sul, construída entre os séculos 13 e 15 caracterizada por um forte contraste entre o seu exterior austero, defensivo e sua sumptuosa decoração interior. Almoço em restaurante.
À tarde, visitamos Cordes sur Ciel. A subida íngreme transporta-o de volta aos tempos medievais, passando pelos pórticos, ameias, fachadas esculpidas do Grand Ecuyer e do Grande Veneur e as esplêndidas mansões góticas do século XVIII que pertenciam a ricos comerciantes. As vielas estreitas e sinuosas até a cidade também são salpicadas de galerias e lojas de artesanato. Pintores, escritores, ceramistas, escultores e joalheiros foram atraídos para este lugar inspirador há muitos anos e a tradição continua. Nas manhãs enevoadas, Cordes sur ciel realmente faz jus ao seu nome, pois parece flutuar no céu.

Thanks to Ciel Chine our stay in Yunnan was really very pleasant.... The minibus transport was comfortable as we had requested, the hotels chosen by you were very good... the tour was well adapted to our expectations, our guide is a well of historical, geographical, and cultural knowledge and tried very kindly to pass all of that on to us, of which we retained what we could, but it was very useful to have him with us and he also always assisted us with all the practical aspects of this trip... so in summary we recommend Ciel Chine without reservation A big thank you to the whole Ciel team for organizing this trip
Great tour ver knowledgeable and personable guide. The two sites are really interesting. The Toulouse-Lautrec museum in Albi was a bonus. Cordes-sur-Ciel alone would merit the tour

Great way to experience Albi & Cordes-sur-Ciel - Olivia is an experienced, engaged and engaging guide who was very accommodating of our interests and expectations. She shared many bits of information that only a local could, including the many random questions we had not only about the immediate region but also about France, and French people, culture and history. She also took a genuine interest in us and our previous experiences, which helped make the time spent travelling between locations fly. No hesitation in recommending the experience to others.

We took a 1/2 day and full day tour with Olivia, and both tours were amazing. For the 1/2 day tour, we did a walking tour of the Cité Médiévale Carcassonne with a trip to a local winery afterwards. Olivia's knowledge of the history and architecture of La Cité Médiévale was amazing, and gave us so much insight into how and why the city was built the way it is. She took the time to point out unique architectural features and told us some famous stories of the city. It enhanced our enjoyment so much to get the stories behind the incredible things we were seeing! She also gave us recommendations for things to do on our own later in the day, which was lovely! The next day, Olivia picked us up from our AirBnB, luggage in hand, and took us on a full day tour from Carcassonne to Albi and Cordes sur Ciel, and then dropped us off at our AirBnB in Toulouse at the end of the day. I cannot say enough about Olivia's knowledge of the local history and architecture, beyond just the cities we visited. She is absolutely amazing, and we learned so much about the Occitanie region. Equally important to her knowledge of the area, was the connection we made with her. We felt completely comfortable with Olivia from the first moment we met her. We chatted easily with her during our drives between stops and never felt awkward or uncomfortable with her. She also knew the spots to stop and get great photos! If you're considering a private tour in the Occitanie region of France, I absolutely recommend that you connect with Olivia. You won't regret it. It was worth every Euro we spent, to have our enjoyment of these beautiful places enhanced by her knowledge and expertise. She was simply amazing, and definitely a highlight of our trip!

Having lunch with an amazing view at Alibi. Olivia is amazing. We would take a tour again. We learned so much from her and since we speak very little French her ability to talk with us in English was great. My favorite tour we took while in France
Excellent tour. Our guide (Olivia) was superb and very knowledgeable. Cordes sur Ciel is a small town/village that is amazing. Highly recommend.
My parents and I took this tour. Marina was a great guide, knowledgeable and patient since we had to take a slower pace because of my parents. They especially love Albi and the Cathedral. Cordes sur Ciel was beautiful, but it may have been too much walking for my parents by the end of the day. The driver dropped us off as far up as he could but by the end of the day it may have been too much for my parents.
This is a wonderful tour of Albi snd Cordes Sur Ciel. Olivia is a great tour guide and took our needs into account for us to thoroughly enjoy the day. Highly recommended!
We had a fantastic day out with Olivia exploring Albi and Cordes sur Ciel. Olivia was really friendly and took us to places we would not have been able to reach ourselves. Just the right amount of commentary along the way. Terrific restaurant choice in Albi. 10/10 day. Highly recommended.
