City Tour em Alanya com Teleférico, Castelo e Eu Amo Alanya Panorama

Very underwhelming, we arrived at our hotel at 1am and was awoken at 8am from the hotel room phone with the rep telling us we had a meeting that morning at 11, at the meeting he sold us on the alanya city tour seemed wonderful the way he described it. Bus was 20mins late at pick up, slow journey from manavgat, got there ushered off the bus onto the boat tour, plodded round the castle, quite boring tbh, back on land ushered back on boat for another 20 mins drive to resteraunt, don't get me wrong location of resteraunt was lovely, but food was two chicken legs and coleslaw. Drinks were NOT included so we got rinsed 30 euro for 4 drinks, you are not allowed to take in your own bottled water they will remove it from the table. Then 20 mins drive back onto the cable car 6mins up 6 mins down to and feom castle, view was lovely but if your elderly or have trouble with anything steep this isn't for you as the steps at the top could prove troublesome. View was lovely though. Back down to hang about for bus, they stopped at the side of the road for us to see banana trees but I felt this was just fodder for the trip and a bit of a waste of time. All in all, we were 240 euro for a family of 4 for this with the 30 euro for the drinks 270 (obviously bought other things while in alanya but not trip effected) it's nowhere near value for money for me and it's left us really disappointed that we feel we have wasted a day and money for that which we could have used to do something better.

Beautiful scenery and my first time in a cable car which I got it to myself, not on the way down. It’s a must goto and there’s a mosque you can go in but take your shoes off and ladies cover your legs

Nobody picked me up. CHEAT I paid by credit card and the confirmation came, but no pick up at 5pm on Sunday, September 14, 2025.

Best experience ever! Go and enjoy the best view of alanya! Me and my daughter enjoyed throughout the day! Staff are really friendly

Ladies and gentlemen, great start, pick up and transfer to the cable car were successful. However, you will not be driven to the cable car, first of all you have to wait in a tourist shopping den for half an hour before going on the actual tour. We booked a German-speaking tour, ended up on the Russian-speaking bus and were ignored. Arriving at the unbooked bazaar, we were informed that the ticket for the cable car was not included in the price package and how to pay another 10 euros per person. That wasn't booked. We gave in - hoping to get a German-speaking guide for the tour. So we got on the cable car and - once we got to the top - there was no guide or information - no brochures - no signposts - but again the great opportunity to shop at various bazaars. Let's call this a very short _tourist rip-off" and keep telling. We took the cable car down, hoping to get another nice sightseeing tour with explanations of the place. Unfortunately, there was only one driver - who was very nice but helplessly exposed to this situation. The city tour went up the mountain once and down once. The driver was really very anxious to give us a nice trip, also translated again and again via his smartphone. Tripadviser has completely failed here. Faking false offers. We call it "rip-off" again. Don't bay under any circumstances, there are many alternatives, even on your own is better than this bust. Have fun in Antalya.

The sights were as expected. The reason for the 3 stars was the confused driver. His English did not reach far, so the communication went through another driver - fair enough, but we were told that it was important to be back from the castle and the cable car at 19, and that the cars drove immediately after, if you were not there, they would drive without one. Fair enough again. However, it meant that we rushed away, stressed in the line at the cable car and rushed. However, we were able to see what we were going to do and arrive on time. And here the waiting time began so... When we arrived, we were 4 passengers in the car, we four sat and waited... after half an hour another driver (from another company) translates that we are waiting for 4 passengers... incomprehensible for us, since we arrived only 4. After pressure from us, the driver calls the boss and is allowed to drive on... At I♥️Alanya we get to know that we have 10 minutes, so we have to hurry around again. Immediately I think that you can almost as well pay for a taxi both to the cable car and up to the I♥️alanya sign.

It was a lovely trip but need more time when you go to visit the mosque and hour doesn't seem to be long enough although the views were stunning. And our driver was very understanding especially when people came back late!

Brilliant little trip. Beautiful views. Unfortunately we missed the sunset due to the cloudy weather, but we enjoyed it never the less

We had 15min to go to the beach OR to the cave. Cable car tickets were bought by the guides, but they charged 8€, but actually they cost 6€. At the castle we had less than an hour, which was absolutely not enough. Everything was unaccompanied. Also the graduation in the “park”, we were allowed to take 10min photos, there you had to pay no admission etc. So the management costs are exclusively for the transfer, in the down-run jeep. No language German, but English, a problem for some fellow travellers.

The tour took us to the hill where the 'Love Alanya' sign towers over the landscape. From there one could see the extent of the city. And there was a man with a camel which you could ride for a short while for TL400. Then onto what was described as the textile market, which turned out to be just a shopping mall where you could buy something or not. Next stop was the cable car, an unusual experience in a hot climate (having only been on one when skiing) that took us to the hill of the castle. One had to go some way to get to the castle where there was a separate ticket booth. The ticket for the cable car didn't include access to the castle. Then onto lunch which was served at a harbour restaurant and quite tasty. Drinks were extra! The trip concluded with a short trip around the castle peninsula on a pirate ship where one could dive off the ship to take a refreshing swim.
