O Forte Al Jahili tem sido um ponto focal cultural das atividades associadas à filosofia e ao patrimônio de Abu Dhabi na Cidade Jardim. Al Jahili é um dos maiores fortes dos Emirados Árabes Unidos e foi construído na década de 1890 sob ordens de Zayed The First como lar de membros da família governante Al Nahyan.
Qasr al-Ain ou "Al Ain Palace", é um dos fortes mais bem restabelecidos no emirado de Abu Dhabi. O museu mostra a vida cotidiana no forte de um governante quando o falecido xeque Zayed e sua família residiram no palácio antes de 1966. A arquitetura de estilo beduíno remonta a 1937 e foi convertida em museu em 1998 como principal atração cultural e turística.
O oásis histórico se estende por 3.000 acres e fornece uma visão única dos habitantes da região que começaram a domesticar o deserto há 4.000 anos. O Al Ain Oasis é um Patrimônio Mundial da UNESCO desde 2011, mas só agora, com a construção de um Eco-Centro educacional e um extenso sistema de caminhos sombreados que atravessam cerca de 147.000 datas. O local abriga até 100 variedades diferentes de vegetação que circundam o oásis impressionante, com plantações generalizadas que também estão trabalhando em fazendas.
O famoso mercado de camelos de Al Ain é uma imersão maravilhosa na cultura árabe tradicional. Desde jovens camelos árabes que podem crescer até corredores a impressionantes camelos adultos ideais para procriação, o mercado é uma experiência única para observar melhor o animal que desfruta de um lugar especial na herança dos Emirados.
Parada de foto: Subindo 1.240 metros, Jebel Hafit é o pico mais alto do emirado e o segundo dos Emirados Árabes Unidos. Esta imponente altura rochosa, que fica de guarda sobre Al Ain e faz fronteira com Omã, é forjada a partir de calcário escarpado que foi desgastado por milhões de anos. Descobertas fósseis significativas foram feitas na área, que são peças vitais no quebra-cabeça da história antiga da cidade.
Essa extensão verde ao pé de Jebel Hafeet é outro espetáculo que mostra as ricas reservas naturais de Al Ain. we did a one-day tour as a couple to Al Ain. The company was very serious, there were only us but the tour was still guaranteed with a minibus. At our complete disposal the driver-guide (Jakir) who was precise in taking us to all the places planned by the tour managing the timing and movements. kind and thoughtful. We visited the planned sites. absolutely beautiful and unmissable to get to know this exceptional land and population. Tradition, respect and kindness are everywhere, Al Ain is full of history and culture, everything is orderly and well kept. fascinating customs and the spirit of determination and dignity that has allowed this land to transform in an enviable way. Lunch planned in a luxurious hotel with refined dishes. Absolutely a tour not to be missed. Only one visit missed because the site was under renovation. Maybe it could have been replaced with another stage, but this allowed us to stay longer in the other stages.
Unique experience, very different from most Dubai programs. The camel market and the view is remarkable. Audio guide was very informative.
Absolutely worth doing if you've got a little more time in Dubai (UAE). An escape from the city & how it came to be! If you love history & want to experience the historical side of the UAE & what life was like pre oil, then this is a must do! You get to see & experience the old fort & royal palace + enjoy a great all you can eat buffet. There's also the mountain range at the end with a spectacular view. The camel site is not for the faint hearted though... It's a great cultural experience, but also a sad one (even as a meat eater). Our tour guide was Rilwan Mohama'd. He was very kind & informative. He told us lots about each site we visited. He also did a pit stop on the drive back to Dubai for a quick drink & loo break. My only slight niggle, is the lunch is a bit later in the tour, so definitely bring a water bottle & little snack (crisps or something to nibble in the car). We left our bags in the car at each side we visited.

We have chosen Full Day Al Ain Tour with lunch to discover the UNESCO oasis. Our tour guide Razwan was very kind. We visited AL Jahili Fort, Al Ain Palace Museum, Al Ain Oasis, Camel Market, Jabal Hafeet panoramic viewpoint (unfortunately during the tour you don’t visit the summit) and Mubazarah Hot Springs. Some stops could be longer but overall I recommend the tour. Futhermore, the very delicious lunch was included.
