O Centro Cultural Ainu é uma verdadeira jóia escondida. Escondido em um ambiente natural exuberante cerca de uma hora fora de Sapporo, este centro / museu é certo para agradar. É muito informativo com toneladas de artefatos do Ainu. O centro é bem curado e os visitantes são encorajados a segurar e tocar as muitas artes de Ainu autênticas. A aldeia ao ar livre com casas Ainu artesanais tradicionais e canoas são muito legais para experimentar também. Esta é uma visão “deveria ir” para aqueles interessados em grupos indígenas. Seu passeio continuará até Jozankei Hot spring(Onsen) Village. Há 56 fontes quentes em Jozankei, concentradas em torno de ambas as pontes Tsukimibashi e Takayamabashi junto com o rio Toyohira que flui por toda a aldeia. As águas da maioria desses banhos de fonte quente têm temperaturas médias que variam de 60 a 80 graus Celsius. Itinerário
Este passeio começará na estação de Sapporo em frente à “Myomu” (a estrutura de pedra circular) em frente às portas da saída sul da estação de Sapporo. Por favor, encontre-se aqui exatamente às 9h. Seu guia estará lá para recebê-lo. Depois de breves introduções e sorrisos, começaremos a nossa maravilhosa excursão a partir do Centro Cultural Ainu. O passeio começa aqui no Centro Cultural Ainu. Seu guia irá levá-lo através do passeio de 1 hora do Museu Ainu Center (sala de exposições). Aqui, você aprenderá sobre o estilo de vida, história e arte do povo Ainu, o povo indígena que se estabeleceu em Hokkaido e desenvolveu uma cultura única. Esta instalação é a primeira do seu tipo no Japão a se concentrar nos habitantes originais e permite que os visitantes realmente sintam, toquem e experimentem as artes de primeira mão tradicionais do Ainu (mais de 300 itens) feitas por artesãos do Ainu.

A lovely few hours enjoying Scott’s guidance and hospitality. Enjoyed the Ainu Museum, the public transportation rides, the lunch experience, the onsen soaking and of course, Scott’s conversations and dry humor! The experience was enhanced by the presence of Stella and Faith from Hawaii in our little group.
Highly recommend this small group tour. If there’s interest in Ainu culture and history, book this trip. Scott was very informative, insightful and it’s a better way to fully experience the centre rather than just walking through it. Day is very balanced with the onsen trip after it. Thanks Scott :)
We used public transportation to get there so it took a while but was scenic along the way. The Ainu Museum was very interesting. Then, we headed to Jozankei for lunch, a short hike, and the onsen at a local hotel. It was a different experience than our hotel onsen. There were a lot of people but 3 different baths. Overall, it was a long but very good day with our guide, Scott.
He is knowledgeable and explained things in detail so that we could easily understand. It was a pleasure traveling with you. Thank you..
This was an outstanding tour where we were able to be immersed in the culture at the museum as well as explore the hot springs town. Our guide was informative and friendly. Would highly recommend for anyone interested in the culture of Sapporo and interested in the Indigenous culture of Japan.
A great tour, with an engaging tour guide in Scott. Fees were all included in the ticket and you get a good showing around the Ainu museum and the Hot Springs, coupled with the onsen trip, lasting about 10 hours from start to finish. Highly recommended, although wear shoes with grip if going on the gorge hike during off season!

Great personalized trip in a small group setting. Knowledgeable tour guide who made the museum informative and engaging. Our tour guide Scott spoke English and explained everything well, even with managing the transportation.

A very informative and stress-free trip, even in spite of the weather warning of a snowstorm that hit the morning of our trip. Unfortunately, I have tattoos so could not join the Onsen section but still was able to enjoy a footbath
