Ahhh Ras Natango é um retiro tropical composto por uma galeria e jardim botânico no topo das colinas com vista para Montego Bay. A galeria apresenta trabalhos de artistas residentes autodidatas e formalmente treinados – Ras Natango, Tamika e Ayale. A loja de presentes, de acordo com o ambiente da propriedade, é nomeada apropriadamente, Ahhh…Treasures por causa dos itens exclusivos encontrados nela. É uma continuação da galeria com itens artísticos para presentes. Capas de almofadas pintadas à mão, bolsas pintadas à mão, chapéus, pesos de papel e muitos outros itens. A loja de presentes também abriga um conjunto de conchas marinhas coletadas na praia para criar criaturas marinhas únicas. Há tesouros para todos descobrirem. O jardim abriga mais de 50 espécies de samambaias, plantas florais incomuns e belas árvores em seções temáticas. Há duas seções - a Vila das Fadas e um jardim da Era dos Dinossauros, que inclui plantas endêmicas da Jamaica. Os jardins são populares para casamentos, mas também são usados como ferramentas de ensino, etc.

This was such a beautiful tour. From the backstory of how they cultivated the land and created the levels of garden, to the beautiful job Tamika has done collecting various types of exotic shrubs and flowers, to feeling the peace and gratitude the couple have for the land. The art is very beautiful as well. There’s not quite like another excursion this authentic. We had such a great experience. Absolutely recommend!

What a fantastic time we had! We were told to go to this place by our air BnB and what a great choice it was! The family who run this could not be more lovely if they tried. We were shown a beautiful garden with the most incredible view and the gallery had some of the most stunning paintings all done by them! Definitely a place I would recommend to anyone who loves nature and enjoying life.

Incredible experience and wonderful people at the gardens. I highly recommend visiting Ras Natango. It’s not 5 star because our driver rushed us back to the hotel while we would have loved spending another half an hour browsing the gardens. Beautiful gallery and we bought a couple of art pieces that we keep as a memento of colourful and cheerful Jamaica. Our kids loved it and we all had a chance to feed a hummingbird. We would love to go back and spend half a day there with no rush.
