We did a classic wine tour here, really wasn’t worth it. We paid 20 euro per person, got a quick tour of the building and cellar, and tasted three wines afterwards. Wines were poured in the same glass, and we got little to no explanation with them, no water, bread, hospitality very low, we didn’t even get to taste the olive oil... we felt a little scammed honoustly, they were quick to collect our 40 euro and send us on our way. We’ve had so many great wine experiences in tuscany, I highly recommend you don’t waste your time and money on this one!
Good evening, thank you for your feedback. Usually the Classic Wine Tour includes a tour of cellar and the press mill, and a tasting of only 2 wines and it last around 1 hour. The olive is not included in this kind of tour and we run out of it at this time of the year. I offered a glass of Trebbiano which is our most important white wine, and a tasting of our special Vinsanto because you asked me (usually it is 3,00€ per glass). Of course I've explained all the wines and I made an exhaustive wine tour, but I would have been more than happy to asnwer to your questions. My team and I will be very happy to have you back here! While we did not stay or have a meal here, we greatly enjoyed the Classic Wine Tour. There is some very fascinating history to this old winery. As a red wine lover, I thought the wines we tasted were delicious. We had our kids with us (ages 9-17) and it was free to have them come along. They gave the kids some juice while we tasted the wines. We purchased some very reasonably priced bottles of wine at the end and even some of their olive oil which we got to try. For wine and history lovers, this was a great spot.
