Addis de 5 dias, Bahir Dar, Gondar, Simien Mountains e Lalibela Tours

A group of friends and I joined the 5 Day Ethiopia Tour covering Addis Ababa, Bahir Dar, Gondar, Simien Mountains National Park, and Lalibela with Danakil Depression Tours, and it was one of the best trips we’ve ever taken together. Each destination offered something unique, from the peaceful beauty of Bahir Dar and Lake Tana to the historic castles of Gondar and the breathtaking landscapes of the Simien Mountains. The highlight for our group was exploring the famous Lalibela Rock-Hewn Churches, which were truly unforgettable.

This tour was full of amazing places. We visited Addis Ababa, Bahir Dar, Gondar, the Simien Mountains, and Lalibela. Each location was different and interesting, and everything was well organized.

This is our first foreign trip Ethiopia Tours arranged my sons especially my elder son. Their wishes fulfilled by sending us to a foreign destination. The trip was enjoyable and pleasant. We departed from addis on 10th May and arrived addis 16th. We have not faced any difficulty during the entire tour. The co-travelers were cooperative and courteous. We have maintained punctuality all the way. Guides at gondar ,Lalibela were excellent especially lalibela According to me the hotels where we stayed and the hotels where we have our food are good. Here I want to mention about our tour coordinator cum manager mickey He is a very good and kind person. He is an asset to Danakil. I thank one and all co-passengers and their families. This is my personal opinion about the tour . We hope we will meet on another tour very soon. Thank God for his invisible help and anugraham for the successful tour. I once again thanks everyone. What a wonderful week in northern Ethiopia! Danakil Depression Tours was an excellent host, and I would definitely book with them again. The 5-day tour of northern Ethiopia visited all the key sights and highlights in Addis Ababa and Amhara region. My tour guide in Addis Ababa, Mickey was welcoming and very knowledgeable. His knowledge of anthropology, Ethiopian history, and modern culture impressed me. After flying to Bahir Dar (a more efficient option than driving), I was met by my lovely guide, Mekeru, and driver, Getachew They went the extra mile, ensuring I had everything I needed each day and treating me to a traditional dance show. drive (~6hrs) back and forth from Gondar to simien mountains is well worth it. The Ethiopian countryside is so beautiful and I felt safe with Getachew driving. All the members of the Danakil Depression Tours team were excellent examples of the warmth and friendliness their countrymen are known for. I feel like I learned so much about Ethiopia's culture and history, and I look forward to my next trip.

In may 2023 I went on a week trip around Ethiopia organised solely by Danakil Depression Tours. The company and Alex had been recommended to me by two mutual contacts. From the very start I had a detailed conversation with about what I was looking to achieve from the trip, and Alex and Mickey put together a fantastic itinerary for me and helped me at every step of the way, organizing visas and even booking flights. Extremely helpful and from the beginning I was struck by the personal touch that the company manages to achieve. The trip was fantastic and combined history, culture, nature, churches, mosques, hiking, wild animals, amazing food and wonderful people. Alex and Mickey handpicked each local guide (who were all excellent and had detailed local knowledge) and also my driver Bini who was superb. And on each return to Addis I would meet with Mickey who came to my hotel, debriefed me and made sure that the trip was going well and I was happy. I cannot recommend Danakil Depression Tours enough. Utterly professional and gave me such comfort. I'm sure there are various dramas behind a week trip in Ethiopia but the entire experience was completely seamless and smooth. Thank you so much!
