Itinerário
Como em todas as boas histórias, tudo começa com uma introdução. Não é fácil contar a história de uma das cidades historicamente mais ricas do mundo. No entanto, pretendemos dar aos nossos hóspedes uma perspectiva mais ampla. É por isso que, no início do tour, oferecemos uma lição concisa sobre a criação da civilização humana, e depois colocamos a antiga civilização grega — e Atenas em particular — dentro desse quadro, para que as pessoas possam realmente entender sua importância e contribuição.
O primeiro monumento que veremos no caminho até a Acrópole é o Teatro de Dionísio, o primeiro teatro da história humana. É aqui que nasceram o teatro e o drama como prática, e onde as primeiras peças – tragédias e comédias – foram executadas perante o público ateniense. Essas peças foram escritas por alguns dos mais famosos escritores de todos os tempos, incluindo Sófocles, Eurípides e Esquilo.
Nossa próxima parada será o Odeão de Herodes Atticus, que foi construído pelo benefactor da cidade e famoso filósofo do século 2 dC em memória de sua esposa falecida.
Chegando à entrada principal do santuário da Acrópole, veremos o Templo de Athena Nike, dedicado à deusa da vitória.
Em seguida, admiraremos a vista das colinas históricamente importantes ao redor, e subiremos a escadaria principal que leva ao interior do santuário, tudo ao mesmo tempo em que entraremos na monumental porta da Acrópole.
Nossa última paragem será o Erechtheion, o templo de mitos e lendas, localizado no centro do santuário da Acrópole e famoso por suas esculturas únicas.
No final, vamos finalmente admirar "a jóia na coroa" - o Partenão. Um presente para a deusa patrona de Atenas, é a obra-prima da arquitetura grega antiga do período clássico e a maior conquista técnica do estado democrático - o símbolo da civilização ocidental.
Depois de analisar a Acrópole, vamos fazer uma pequena pausa para fotos por 20 minutos. Depois disso, vamos sair do sítio arqueológico da Acrópole e visitaremos a colina Areopago onde vamos ter o epílogo do passeio com a vista da antiga Agora ateniense.

Our guide, Harris/Haralamoos, had multiple graduate degrees and was hands down the most knowledgeable guide I’ve ever had. He made it fun also by having some of us guess answers and giving candies for rewards. He’s given the topics a great deal of philosophical thought and adds his own flavor all of which makes the journey digestible, memorable, and meaningful. Deep thanks!
From beginning to end the tour was absolutely fascinating! Our guide, Haralampos (Harris), was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about sharing everything about Greek history. Harris/Haralampos was the most knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate tour guide I’ve ever had. He was so kind and enthusiastic about everything he spoke of, and left no stone unturned when explaining about the history of the Acropolis and the the various civilizations that influenced the architecture, history and culture in Athens and beyond. You can tell Harris is not only extremely wise but truly loves what he does. Anyone would be lucky to have him as a guide. 10/10 would go back.
If you want the history of the Acropolis with a very passionate tour guide, this is the tour for you. He should be a History professor. If you want just a quick and easy tour this is not the tour for you. Be ready to learn a lot.
Our visit to the Acropolis was one of the highlights of our trip, and Harris made the experience exceptional. His knowledge of Greek history and mythology was outstanding, and he shared it in such an engaging and easy-to-understand way. Harris was friendly, enthusiastic, and happy to answer all of our questions. You can tell he is so passionate about the history which we loved. We left with a much deeper appreciation for this incredible place. We highly recommend this tour, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Harris as your guide! If you learn best by walking the same grounds as remarkable figures during significant moments in history and want to understand the social, political and religious influences of that time, this tour fulfilled it. Harris was thorough and engaging and found ways to link us all to the past. He had impactful words of empowerment as well. He kindly and patiently took photos of groups at highlight areas and gives a generous amount of time. Our tour was over 3 hours. So let him know ahead of time if you need to leave at a certain time. We were grateful for this unique experience!

This is a very detailed and informative tour, our guide Haralanpos was very knowledgeable about history and we had lots of philosophical discussions on the way around. It is quite a long tour which may not suit everyone but great fir history buffs
