Great trip in a small group (6 of us total). Guide was well versed in history and facts of the area and sites. Glad to have air conditioning as it was a very hot day.
Eric our guide was great from the start. He was an excellent driver, bursting with historical knowledge, local insights and we would highly recommend his tour. He gave us insider tips on every place we went. Best guide on our trip. Thank you for a memorable time.
During our time in Provence we went on two tours with Eric - Luberon and its Perched Villages and The Story of Pont du Gard. Both tours were great! We appreciated the pace of both tours and the time allotted to experience the locations at our own pace (or to sit down at a cafe if we wanted to take a break). Eric made sure we got to experience not only the sites, but also provided time for us to experience some of the small villages that make Provence so special. He also made the drives between sites more enjoyable with great history lessons and stories about what we were seeing. We were so excited the second day to learn that we would be spending more time with Eric. We would highly recommend both tours.
Great day with a nice driver/guide, Eric, and very nice fellow travelers. The sites were all incredible and the day was perfect. The van was very comfortable and cool. There was ample time when the tour was over to get something to drink/eat and still visit the Popes Palace on my own later that afternoon. It was a wonderful day.
This was a great experience and we loved it! Eric was a fun guide and gave us so much information. It was so easy to schedule and very informative.
Thank you for you positive feedback. We are glad that you enjoyed the tour with Eric. Hope to see you again!
Emilie is incredible! We ended up with just our family on the tour. She was so sweet and patient with my kids, gave a thorough history of all our sites, kept the narrative going during the drive. The sites were wonderful to tour, we happened upon the weekly market at Uzes, too. She walked us through the market and helped us speak with some vendors, which she didn’t have to do! Took photos for us and really spent the time explaining the region she loves. It’s a family run business - we coincidentally met her mom at a stop while she was giving her own tour. Emilie has just the lovely, beautiful personality; I enjoyed conversing with her. My kids had such a great time, they took selfies with her. :) Book it if you can!
Thank you so much for taking your time to write such a wonderful review. We are glad to hear how much you and your kids enjoyed this tour with Emilie. She loves what she does and we are glad it shows. Hope to see you again!
This tour was wonderful. Emily had a lot of energy and was very knowledgeable. The towns of Nimes and Uzes were amazing as was the Pont du Gard. I highly recommend!
Thank you for your kind words and recommendation. We are glad you enjoyed this tour with Emily. Hope to see you again!
Eric and Gordona were so friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. They made us feel right at home in such an amazing region. They are down to earth yet their enthusiasm for their culture is infectious and you will carry it with you for the rest of your journey.
Thank you for your kind words. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the tour with Gordana and Eric. They love what they do and we are glad it shows. Hope to see you again!
My husband, his sister, and I took the half day “History of the Pont du Gard” tour. Because of her excellent reviews we signed up for Gordana’s tour. As it turned out, Gordana’s daughter Emily was our guide, along with her niece Camille, guide in training. They both obviously love sharing their knowledge about their country and its history with visitors. Both are friendly, kind, witty, and attentive to their guests. Emily did an excellent job driving. They showed us the highlights of Nimes, Uzès, and the Pont du Gard. They made sure we were comfortable, offered bottled water as needed, and patiently answered all of our questions. They even treated us to Calissons, a specialty candy of Provence. Over all it was a delightful experience. I highly recommend this tour. Other travelers, especially the elderly or mobility impaired, should be aware that it's a long walk from the parking lots to the Pont du Gard.
Thank you for your wonderful review. We are happy to hear how much you enjoyed this half day tour with Emilie and Camille. Our goal is to give you a day to remember. We love what we do and we are glad it shows. Hope to welcome you again in another Provence adventure!
Eric is so joyful and such a fun tour guide. He provides a lot of history and information about the sites. Very comfortable small van. It is a great trip! Pont du Gard is so impressive up close. Beautiful Roman coliseum in Nimes. Uzès is a quaint town with a large castle. Definitely recommend this trip!
