We had a 9 night private tour of Egypt with my wife organized by Ramasside Tours, and we were extremely satisfied with all aspects. The booking was really easy, Mahmoud was answering always very quickly and always understood what I wanted. The bookings of the hotels and the cruise were also flawless and the detailed itinerary with all add-ons was just what I wanted (slightly longer than their standard tour - we added an extra day in Cairo and a trip down to Abu Simbel at the end). The Ramasside representative was already waiting for us at the Cairo airport before the passport control, which was very easy and quick. Our hotel in Cairo was Le Meridien Pyramids and it was pretty good, up to Western standards. The pool has a view of the Pyramids. Our guides in Cairo were Mahmoud (during the day) and Ayoub (evenings). Both were excellent, Mahmoud took us to the pyramids, camel ride, pyramids at Dashur, Memphis and Saqqara the first day, then the museum, the citadel and the bazaar the second day, and a super walking tour of Cairo the third day. Ayoub was with us for the sound and light show, the dinner cruise and the several more check-ins and check outs. The second part of our journey was in upper Egypt, and we had Sam (Haytham) with us for 5 days. Sam was really wonderful - he made sure every detail is worked out perfectly, had a deep knowledge of ancient Egypt, and is a really kind person. He made sure we avoid any crowds and since the temperature in upper Egypt in July is > 40C we went to most places very early in the morning to avoid the excessive heat during the day, or in the evenings. The Valley of the Kings is unbelievable, especially the tomb of Ramses VI, make sure you include that. Karnak and Luxor temples are amazing, and the Luxor museum is worth seeing too - much smaller than Cairo but well organized and only high quality. The cruise ship (Jaz Regency) was nice, our cabin was big enough and we had good ac. The temples we stopped on the way from Luxor to Aswan were definitely worth seeing, and in Aswan we saw Philae temple, the high dam and the Nubian museum, as well as a carriage ride in the evening. Our last day was the excursion to the amazing Abu Simbel. While it is very far, it is definitely a must do once you are in Egypt, for me it was one of the best sights. Overall I had an excellent time in Egypt, and would definitely recommend Ramasside Tours - they made everything easy and extremely well organized. Every aspect of the actual trip was just like they promised, the drivers were excellent both in Cairo, Luxor and Aswan, no hidden extra charges, no gimmicks, and when we said we did not want to do a particular shopping stop they skipped it without any problems. I would most definitely like to come back to Egypt and use Ramasside again.
As a 39 y/o female solo traveller, I always felt safe with the guides and drivers of ramasside. Not only were they efficient, punctual and knowledgeable, but I felt their sincerity as well. Special thanks to Mr. Mina, Sam and Magdi and Ms Nada. I had so much fun in Egypt which was made hassle-free by you guys!
Really glad that we booked our holiday package through Ramaside Tours. We had a brilliant time on our 9 day package tour. We saw some awesome sites down the Nile, while also getting some relaxation time on the cruise. A perfect combination. Our tour guide, Amr who stayed with us during the Nile Cruise was very knowledgeable on the sites we visited and provided some great info about the locations. Tarek and Mina showed us around the sites at Cairo where we spent two days seeing the Pyramids, the Museum and the Citadel. There was plenty of time for us to shop during the excursions and during our free time in Aswan and Cairo. Bought back loads of gifts and memories. Definitely recommend these guys to anyone who wants the effort of planning taking care off. Leaves you to just relax in knowledge that you won't miss anything important.
I have spent the last 3 days visiting Abydos & Dendara (1 day) and Luxor (2 days) with my guide Ahmed Haggag Ali. First of all, I would highly recommend Abydos to anyone (even if it is way out of any route, +3h by car from Luxor). Abydos is truly a special place, thanks to its colorful paintings and design. And Ahmed provided me with all the history and explanations related to this temple. He knows eveything!! He has been able to answer all of my questions so far (and believe me, I have had a lot!) We later had a delicious 'fuul' in a local restaurant (see pic). Luxor is, of course, a must see if you plan to visit Egypt. I spent one day in the east bank and another in the west bank. The Karnak and Luxor temples on the East bank are fascinating, and the Valley of the Kings in the West bank has beautiful tombs. Of the 3 tombs I visited, Ramses III was my favourite, extremely colorful. If you have the budget, I also recommend the hot air balloon trip, which is just breathtaking. I will spend 3 more days with my guide Ahmed Haggag Ali to visit Edfu & Kom Ombo, Aswan and Abu Simbel, and I am very much looking forward to it!

We just returned from a fantastic trip to Egypt. A few days in Cairo combined with 3 day Nile Cruise. I had visited Cairo before many years ago but being supported by Ramasside Tours made all the difference. I would like to specially recommend the tour guides: Mina, Mohammed Talaat in Cairo and Arm in Aswan and Luxor. Our drivers were excellent as well: Abdul and Ehab. Unfortunately don’t remember the name of our drivers in Aswan and Luxor but they were also incredible. It was a new experience for me to have someone take absolute and complete control of all details so I could simply relax. As my overall trip feedback-Mena hotel is the place to be in Cairo but if you wish to avoid the crazy traffic from Giza I would suggest hotel in Cairo for your last night. In regards to the cruise we selected the luxe category and we should had selected the ultimate luxury option overall. The cruise was a bit “basic” more like a 3 stars than what we expected. Again that was our selection so it should not reflect bad on Ramasside Tours.
