Seguindo é uma visita ao Museu ao ar livre em Memphis onde o Colossus de Ramses II, a maior estátua de Ramses o Grande pode ser visto no lugar onde foi descoberto, ver a Esfinge Alabaster ao lado.
A Pirâmide Vermelha e a Pirâmide Curvada estão a cerca de 2 km ao sul do Mastaba Faraoun. Acredita-se que o construtor dessas pirâmides tenha sido Snofru (2575 - 2551 aC), que foi o primeiro governante da 4ª Dinastia. Snofru construiu estas duas pirâmides e acredita-se que tenha construído a pirâmide em Maidoun. Seu filho foi Quéops, que continuou suas tendências construtivas. No caminho de volta ao Cairo, faremos uma parada em uma escola local de carpetes, onde você verá as crianças locais de dedos ágeis tecendo tapetes e tapeçarias. No final do dia, volte para o hotel.

Had a beautiful day with Shadi, he knows a lot about the history of Sakkara and Dahshur and the stops were long enough. We did the Papyrus and Carpet museum too, with a nice private guide. Optional buying, felt no pressure to do so. Great day!

Excellent experience with our driver Shady! Shady took us everywhere, from Memphis to Dahshur and Saqqara, allowing us to visit all the incredible pyramids in total comfort. He shared a lot of interesting information along the way and was always professional, kind, and perfectly organized. Everything was smooth and well managed, and we felt taken care of at all times. Let me begin with the fact that we had a great Holiday in Egypt. lovely people so I won't let this one bad exp undermine our positive experience. We booked a day trip for saqqara, dashur and memphis which under heading said with lunch. When asked about it, we were told that it is extra service and it is just the title "a day trip with lunch". This is misleading, and no one takes the ownership. Is it the viator, driver, or the owner of the car or manager. They would keep passing the buck. To make the matter worse, the car cum trip owner started bombarding me with whatsApp messages, screenshots and was extremely rude accusing me of paying low and demand service. I chose not to retaliate. Our bad exp contd. When we reached Memphis, the entry was closed because we reached 10 mts late. Driver who was very good, but did not know the timings at all. This happened despite we not spending any extra time on any of the sites like dashur or saaquara. We did not even enter the pyramids, did not stop for lunch and yet we missed it and no one informed us about the timings. We lost time because they invariably make you stop at various shopping places, whether u want or not. Not good. I expect the owner to once again retaliate post my review as he has done with other customers. Our driver John was very good though and we still made the best of time we had together. As I said, we had a good time overall in Egypt.
