Ron was extremely knowledgeable. It was just the two of us and we asked a lot of questions. We spent the majority of our time in little India but Ron is flexible and I think if you wanted more time in Chinatown and/or Kampong Gelam he would do that. All the food was included as well as the fares for the MT and bus. Ron knew all the best places for food and we even had food from a Hawker with a Michelin Star and made famous by Anthony Boudine. The tour was closer to 6 hours than 5 but well worth it.
We had such a wonderful time on our tour with Jeanette. She was so knowledgeable about the history of Singapore and walking the streets with her really brought the whole city to life. All of the food we ate was amazing, and she did a great job explaining all of the dishes and their uniqueness. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone!
Ronnie was an excellent tour guide! He was very knowledgeable on Singapore’s history and cultures. This tour takes you to three very distinct areas which were all interesting. It was also great to sample lots of different drinks and dishes that we wouldn’t have found ourselves, a lot of which were very refreshing in the hot weather.
Ronnie was a marvelous tour guide, full of knowledge and information. We toured the three main ethnic areas of Singapore, learned a lot about the local history and integration of cultures, and were able to taste a variety of local foods along the way. There was a lot of walking it the pace was very doable. I would highly recommend this tour.
Hi Elaine, Thank you so much for leaving us a 5-star review! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the food tour and appreciate your support and recommendation. We wish you pleasant travels ahead. 🌟
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and fascinating. We saw some amazing sites, some of which would not have been on a usual tour. He had a wonderful sense of humor and bent over backwards to be there for us!
An interesting experience with an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. We learnt a lot about Singapore today and its history. We also sampled a variety of Singapore food and beverages.
Fantastic experience. We were lucky to just have us on the tour so we had our fabulous guide Ronnie all to ourselves! Ronnie gave us such a comprehensive history on Singapore and talked about so many different aspects of life, paired with excellent food, out of the way interesting highlights and regular clean toilet breaks. We couldn’t have asked for more. We did see other tours with so many guests on them so we were glad to have a more private experience. Ronnie tailored the tour to our interests and foods we enjoyed. It was fabulous. I would really highly recommend choosing this tour over any other in Singapore and ask for Ronnie! I have been to Singapore three times but got so much from this experience. Highly recommended for those new to Singapore and those that might like a locals perspective.
Our guide Jeanette was terrific. She guided us as we explored Little India, Kampong Glam, and Chinatown. Taught us how to use the public transportation subway and bus. Great information on the past and present of Singapore and its people. And showed us how to navigate the Hawker Centers and introduced us to 10+ local foods. Definitely recommend!
Ronnie was puntual, friendly and a walking encyclopedia of Singapore history, culture and food. We had neven been to Singapore and this gave us an immediate immersion the day after our arrival. Be prepared to walk and yes, if you haven't experienced het and humidity, Singapore is renowned for it. We had plnety of stops for cold drinks and even ice cream to lessen the tropical blast. Each section, Little India, Malaysia food, and China town had plentlful cuisine to experience.
Kelvin is very knowledgable about the history of Singapore, and he knew all the right places to feed us. We did this tour on our first day of our Singapore trip which was great to get our bearings and will definitely go back to visit the places we saw again.
