What an incredible experience from beginning to end! Our safari through the Maasai Mara and Amboseli was everything we hoped for and more. A huge part of what made this trip so special was our guide, Douglas. He was an absolutely fabulous person—friendly, professional, patient and incredibly experienced. His knowledge of the wildlife, the landscape and animal behaviour was outstanding, and he always seemed to know where to go to give us the best possible experience. Douglas never made us feel rushed. He was always happy to spend extra time at sightings, which was especially important for photography, and his experience really showed throughout the entire safari. He made every game drive exciting and enjoyable, and by the end of the trip he felt much more like a friend than simply our guide. The organisation was excellent, the journey was smooth, and having our own private safari vehicle made a huge difference. We could take our time, enjoy every sighting properly and really immerse ourselves in the wildlife. The Maasai Mara was absolutely spectacular. Being surrounded by such an incredible amount of wildlife and experiencing the African wilderness up close is something that is difficult to describe until you have been there yourself. Every game drive brought something different, and there was always that feeling that something amazing could happen around the next corner. Amboseli was equally special, especially seeing the huge herds of elephants in that incredible landscape. The scenery, wildlife and atmosphere made it another unforgettable part of the journey. And the kiliminjaro Africa's highest point just raised above us. For anyone dreaming about a real African safari, I can highly recommend this experience. Kenya is absolutely breathtaking, but having a guide like Douglas made the trip even more memorable. Amazing wildlife, incredible landscapes, a fantastic guide and memories that will stay with us for the rest of our lives. We would happily do it all over again! 🇰🇪🐘🦁

We took a 10-day tour with Off-Piste company and guide Benson Maina from Masai Mara to Tsavo Park. Drive along all the parks in southern Kenia in Toyota 4x4.
