Itinerário
Passo 1: O passeio começa na costa leste da ilha, com as suas magníficas praias de areia preta e os seus famosos spots de surf! Ao longo do percurso, haverá paragens de 5 a 10 minutos para fotografias, informações do guia, etc.
PASSO 2: Descubra o Taiti de um ângulo único! A excursão começa ao longo da costa leste da ilha, com as suas magníficas praias de areia preta e famosos locais de surf, antes de entrar no coração do vale de Papenoo, o maior do Taiti. Esta imersão no coração da natureza luxuriante da ilha dar-lhe-á a oportunidade de descobrir a sua essência de uma forma autêntica e única. A excursão inclui comentários e paragens em vários locais notáveis, oferecendo paisagens de cortar a respiração até à Caldera, uma cratera vulcânica extinta que deu origem a Tahiti Nui. Ficará maravilhado com as majestosas quedas de água, as montanhas verdejantes, a vegetação luxuriante e a flora e fauna locais. O guia partilhará consigo histórias fascinantes sobre mitos e lendas, marae e o rico património cultural e histórico da ilha.
PASSO 3: Depois de percorrer metade da ilha e chegar à Caldera, a excursão continua com uma visita à autêntica aldeia de Fare Hape, um lugar cheio de história onde se descobre a vida tradicional dos habitantes do Taiti (marae, fare, forno taitiano, etc.). Antes de partir, aconselhamos vivamente a trazer uma sandes ou um lanche para o almoço. Para isso, vamos parar num supermercado onde pode comprar tudo o que precisa. O almoço será servido num local autêntico e pitoresco na aldeia de Fare Hape, onde poderá desfrutar de uma pausa bem merecida. Recomendamos também vivamente que traga a sua própria garrafa de água ou garrafas de água, para se manter bem hidratado durante a excursão. Uma pequena surpresa espera por si para o fazer mergulhar ainda mais na cultura polinésia para um momento de convívio e partilha.
PASSO 4: A aventura continua com uma paragem no túnel que liga as costas leste e oeste, oferecendo uma vista espetacular de Vaihiria, o único lago natural de altitude do Taiti. Atravessará então toda a ilha antes de regressar ao ponto de partida.

FANTASTIC! Our guide, Leonie, is the owner of the business and she personally made the trip most memorable. She is passionate about Tahiti and went to great lengths to share her knowledge and love for the country and its beautiful nature. Our group of five guests felt like we won the lottery in getting Leonie as our guide! We just arrived in Tahiti to enjoy the water and the beaches, but taking this journey to the mountainous interior was spectacular, and we would highly recommend!
This excursion allows you to discover the interior of Tahiti Nui from north to south. You cross the island passing through the volcano's caldera. The landscapes are spectacular: the river, the waterfalls, the vegetation, and the mountains. The guide is very professional and friendly, and a formidable driver, because not just anyone can drive on that road. It crosses valleys and goes down and up steep paths. In the middle of the tour there is a very pretty village and you can swim in the river that runs next to it.
This tour was such a special experience! Léonie is a warm, caring, insightful guide with an abundance of knowledge on the history, culture and lore of Tahiti. The trip is beautiful, climbing high through the Papenoo valley in a Safari style truck with panoramic views at every stop. We learnt so much about the history and techniques of ancient and modern Tahitian Culture. Each stop had new stories and it's clear that Léonie has a passion for sharing Tahiti. It's also clear that Léonie has a passion for sharing kindness! She gave amazing recommendations for future experiences (which we highly enjoyed!) and she answered every question that we could come up with. Make sure to book in ahead of time as this tour is very popular for a reason, and you definitely don't want to miss it!

Manual was an excellent guide and driver. He really helped us learn about the indigenous plants and medicines and culture. He shared his history which was fascinating how far back he can trace. The road is insanely bumpy so be warned. We stopped at a restaurant for lunch which was nice but if you are a vegetarian you may want to bring your own
