Awesome and informative experience exploring regional wines, paired with local cheeses and more. We had a great time with our friends and host.

We had a wonderful experience with Micheal. His love for his craft doesn’t go unnoticed! He descriptions and pairings were delicious. A bonus was that we met a fabulous woman who was always there. This experience was a highlight of our trip! When we return to Sorrento we would definitely visit Michael again.

We visited this place on a sunny afternoon and were greeted with a warm, friendly welcome. Michael was not only engaging but incredibly knowledgeable about the wines and cheeses on offer. The pairings were spot on — each wine complemented the cheeses and sides beautifully. I’m a red wine lover, while my wife prefers something lighter, and Michael effortlessly catered to both of our tastes with thoughtful recommendations. The venue itself is small but charming, creating a relaxed atmosphere where we never felt rushed. We were even able to linger a little longer to enjoy more wine, which is always a bonus. A wonderful experience all around.

This is a wonderful option if you're not up for a full day farm trip, which seems to be what most of the choices are in and around Sorrento. It was an oasis of cool and calm on a busy, warm day. My friend and I had the place to ourselves and our guide was attentive and funny and we learned so much about local wine and cheese and how simple pairings are delicious when they are fresh, local, and top quality! We were able not only to try favorites again but also to purchase the wines we liked. We never felt rushed or pressured and I would happily go back.

So much information and history about the local cheese and local wine. One of the best experiences in Sorrento. This was worth every penny!!! We will book other experiences with this amazing host at Casa Banana.

A fantastic afternoon tasting beautiful local wines and cheeses! Michael’s warm and welcoming personality make you feel at home from the moment you walk through the door. We would love to return for a cooking class next time we visit the area.

Absolutely loved this!! Michele was so welcoming and informative. The wines were perfectly paired with the cheeses. The fresh bread, pesto, puttanesca were all amazing. Casa Banana is also a warm, unique venue with a great history. Amazing how much we learned.. We will and would recommend this to anyone spending time in Sorrento.
