Well worth getting up at 4am for this experience. Some confusion in the communication about pick-up, but all resolved in time. Our ranger was very knowledgeable and informative, made the drive that much more interesting. The rusks and Amarula for our coffee were a nice touch. Despite the awful conditions of the roads in Pilanesberg, we were fortunate to see a lioness teaching her cubs to hunt, a shunned old male walking alone, and a surprising number of rhino's. I've been on a number of game drives, and it's hard to mess them up, but this one was more memorable than most. Be aware that conservation fees are not included in the price, and although those fees go to the Park, you will not be able to re-enter in your own vehicle on the same day without paying the fees again. This is a Park issue, not MoAfrika, but annoying nonetheless.

Our early morning safari was truly unforgettable from start to finish. The experience began with a prompt early pickup from our lodge, setting the tone for a seamless and well-organized adventure. Watching the sunrise over the landscape was absolutely breathtaking—one of those moments that makes you pause and fully appreciate nature. What made the experience even more special was our guide, Tshiamo. He was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and professional throughout the journey. Safety was clearly his top priority, but he also went above and beyond to give us the best possible views of the wildlife. Tshiamo patiently answered all our questions and shared fascinating facts that added so much depth to what we were seeing. His passion and expertise really brought the safari to life. We came away with so many amazing photos and even better memories. It was also wonderful to see how engaged our 8-year-old was the entire time—he absolutely loved it and hasn’t stopped talking about it since. A great addition to our full day we did previously. Highly recommend MoAfrika!

Had the best drive with T Man for a few hours this morning. He is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and funny too! He was able to answer any questions we had and we managed to see elephants, hippos, rhinos, and zebra in such a short time. Just amazing!
Excellent Pilanesberg trip! Our driver Alex was friendly, professional, safe, and made the whole day comfortable for us. Alex was also extremely thoughtful and service-oriented. He made sure everyone was comfortable, kept the day running smoothly, and was always polite, patient, and upbeat. His positive attitude and genuine care for the passengers really stood out. It’s clear that he takes great pride in providing excellent service and making sure people have a great experience. You can tell Alex naturally enjoys working with people. He communicates well, is very organized, and creates a calm, welcoming environment for everyone. Those qualities made a big difference in our day. I would highly recommend this experience to others.
