For 40 or 50 miles to the Park you are driving on dirt road that is almost impassable. At one point we were on narrow mounds with four or 5 foot ruts all around us for 1/2 mile. If we had slippiied of that narrow patway that would have been it for teh vehicle. Four bridges were basically washed out and to get to what was left, we were going down 35 percent to 40 percent grades with basically a narrow path. We had a three veteran with 3 tours in Afagainstan and he indicated the roads were worse than there and he felt that his Chevy 4 wheeler truck would not be able to make it through. To the drivers (David) credit he did and fast. They use 2 wheel drive Toyota. If it is wet out I do not think we could have made, thank God it was dry for the most part. When other tours could not find any animals we were viewing quite a few. LODGING Pretty gritty food is really basic prepare for that, probably should stop at supermarket and get things you like. We did that and I preferred eating that. Tents OK. No internet. 3 hours electric at night. CONCLUSION If you like to see animals this tour with David will get you there.
