We booked our first family whitewater rafting trip with my kids (ages 8-17) through Adventure Outdoors. They recommended a perfectly appropriate level of difficulty for our family on the Colorado River. We had a mix of class III and class II rapids. It was GREAT. The kids all loved it. The scenery was gorgeous and our guide Michael was the perfect mix of knowledgeable, fun and a great sense of humor. Everything about the experience was quality and we will be booking with them in the future!

Adventure Outdoors was great. We did a rafting trip with them. Trip was just as described. There were 12 of us. 8 adults and 4 kids, ages 9, 9, 7 and 8. This trip was perfect for the kids. Mild class I rapids on the Roaring Fork and Colorado Rivers. We had 2 rafts. Our guides, Charlie and Joe were excellent. They were fun, funny and knowledgeable. We felt safe and had a great two hour trip with them.

This was the family friendly raft trip. Our guide Justin was amazing. One person in our party had an emergency health issue and the management was very gracious about allowing them to reschedule. The total experience was three hours, two hours actually on the water. It was great to see the scenery and not at all scary
It was a family float on the Roaring Fork and our guide, Kahti blended those two concepts brilliantly. 7-year old Betsy's will never forget her dip with Kahti at the swimming hole and riding the bull on the last leg.

Great first rafting trip for the kids! (Ages 12 and 6) A fun experience for the adults as well. Just enough rapids for some excitement but not too much to make it scary for the little ones. Everybody had the option of taking a swim and float down the cool waters. Anastasia was a great guide; friendly and knowledgeable. She made sure everyone was safe and had a blast. Would definitely recommend this activity and company.
