Captain Ryan was fantastic! He was very welcoming, cool, calm and relaxed. He gave us good tidbits about things we passed on our Catamaran ride, as well as tips for other things to see in the area. We highly recommend going on a boating adventure with Ryan! Also, the Catamaran trip was so nice and smooth. I have a tendency towards motion sickness but had no issues whatsoever on this sailing adventure!

Such an amazing experience. The trip was so relaxing. Jason is very personable and knowledgeable. I highly recommend the daytime sail. We will for sure make visiting him apart of our future trips.

Captain Ryan was an amazing host and took us on a very picturesque sailing tour. The only downside was the cold weather during our early evening sail (in mid-June). Make sure to wear warm clothes if sailing in the early evening for 2.5 hours. Blankets may not be enough.

We absolutely loved this experience! It was my mom’s, brother’s, and my first time visiting San Diego, and this sunset catamaran sail ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. It was such a relaxing and unique way to see the city from the water. Our captain was fantastic. He had an impressive sailing background and shared interesting facts about the waterfront, the beautiful homes along the coast, and the city itself, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Before we set sail, he offered us beer and wine and continued checking in throughout the trip to make sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was perfect. He played laid-back coastal music, encouraged everyone to move around the catamaran and enjoy the views from wherever we wanted, and created such a welcoming, relaxed vibe. Seeing the naval ships, sailing beneath the bridge, and watching the sunset over San Diego was unforgettable. If you’re visiting San Diego for the first time, or even if you’ve been before, I highly recommend this tour. It’s an incredible way to experience the city, and we’d absolutely do it again!

If you are looking for a fun time, this is IT! It was the first time on a catamaran for most of us (we had 5 in our group). Ryan was such an awesome host! He was very knowledgeable, answered all of our questions during the tour, and we could tell that he genuinely wanted us to have a memorable time on the water. Our dad can't walk very far and so we used a wheelchair most of the trip. Ryan was very accommodating and helping him onto the boat. It was comfortable for him and he had a great time!

I work as a hotel Concierge in San Diego (20+ years) and I have been recommending this company for a long time. I consistently get positive feedback from my guests. They always tell me the sail is incredible and many of them are planning to do it again when they return to town. Additionally, the staff is great, quick responses, easy bookings and always friendly. Do not miss a Fun Cat sail when visiting San Diego.

The experience was great. Ryan was so helpful. He gave us several recommendations for our trip to San Diego and was very knowledgeable about the area around us while we were sailing. He was kind enough to take pictures of our group and help us with our bags. The ride was nice as it was just our group so we all had room to sit and move around.
