1 dia - ULTIMATE Tour Ijen Blue Fire de Surabaya, Malang e Banyuwangi

Smartway Indonesia Tours was one of the few companies that helped me to organize a 1-night tour to Ijen for just one person. They helped me with all the logistics and the organization of all the tour was great. The views and the experience were totally worth it!

Me & my girlfriend were struggling to find a tour just for Ijen from Surabaya, but luckily I came across this one! With almost instant replies on WhatsApp I was able to be confirmed for a tour the next day, any questions we had were answered right away. Our tour from Surabaya started at 4:30pm with an approximate 6hour drive to Ijen with our driver Bonnie, we had a set half way stop at a lovely Warung (restaurant) and also could ask to stop wherever/whenever needed, after the halfway point Bonnie took is to get our health certificates (50k each) and he also sorted it all out for us so it was a very quick and easy process. We arrived to the mountain at about 23:00 so we had a little sleep in the car as the hike doesn’t open until 2am. Before we started our climb we were introduced to our guide ‘Sahari’ who was 10/10! Hari was so helpful to my girlfriend and I and made our experience alot of fun with his humour and constant smile, he also used to work as a minor in the crater so he knows shortcut routes to skip past queues of tourists and has alot of information too! We got back down to the bottom at around 7am and then had the journey back to Surabaya arriving back around 1/2pm. My girlfriend was nervous for this hike and quite worried about her ability to complete it but she managed just fine and for me as someone who loves hiking and mountain climbing it was truly an amazing experience and a fun climb, i highly recommend this tour and couldn’t have asked for better service. Pick-up is carried out on time according to the place we specify in Malang City. During the trip snacks and drinking water are provided.
