An unforgettable experience. I booked a private tour for my family (8 people, including children and grandparents) for an express visit in Tunisia and the surrounding areas for a few hours (we were traveling on a cruise). It has been the best experience of the entire trip. Salem adapted the plan to our complete needs, showed us charming places, we ate at a typical place in the spectacular medina, and all the transfers were managed by our wonderful driver who always waited for us with the air conditioning running (very important!!). Thank you, Salem, we will definitely return to Tunisia.

Excellent experience with exceptional service from Mbarki travel services. Mr. Salem tour planner, Mr. Hakim guide and driver Mr. Marwen with me all the time since landing and takeoff from Tunis. I felt safe all the time. It was an enlightening and enchanting experience of Carthrage, Roman, Byzantine, Islamic empires of Tunisia. Visit to Sahara and Berber house was spiritual. Tunisia is secular, modern islamic country. People of Tunisia are very kind, hospitable, welcoming and respectful of all other cultures. May God Bless the people of Tunisia.

We took a trip to Tunisia in May, and the experience could not have been better. We especially want to highlight the kindness, professionalism, and dedication of our guide, Salem, and our driver, Hamish, who made the trip even more special. Salem accompanied us throughout the tour with a friendly attitude and was always willing to help. His explanations about the history, culture, and customs of Tunisia were very interesting and greatly enriched our experience. Additionally, he was attentive to our needs at all times, and as a photographer, he is excellent! Thanks to him, we took home magnificent memories from the trip. An absolutely amazing trip, truly a different experience every day; from rich history and ancient ruins, the diverse Berber and Arab cultures, the Sahara, mountain oasis, it’s all there. Salem was an excellent guide, very experienced, knowledgeable and helpful; from working through the itinerary to the last day there. It was a real pleasure to see Tunisia with someone who truly knows and understands their country. If you want to get beyond the beaches and see the real beauty of Tunisia then this is it. When I return to Tunisia, because there is so much more to see, then it will be with Mbarki Travel and Salem.

Our 7 day guided Tunisia tour in January 2026 was amazing. The Punic, Carthaginian, Roman, etc. sites were incredible and so well preserved in spite of earthquakes, wars, time, etc. However, the best part of the trip was our tour guide, Salem, who always made sure we were in the right places at the right time, explaining everything to us in details, historically and symbolically, beginning with the beautiful Nardo Museum, which is a must, and proceeding on to all the other sites, including arranging us to have bread made in the Sahara by a blue-eyed Berber, the original people of North Africa, staying in a cave hotel, on and on, everything went as planned. Salem was not only a regular guide, but a friend and erudite. We will never forget him and recommend friends to book with him since he speaks fluently Arabic, English, French and Spanish. Our driver most of the trip, Marwen, was also exceptional. With him we communicated in French. In conclusion, I highly recommend this trip to anyone wanting to see incredible history, amazing historic sites, great cuisine, and friendly people. Thanks a million Salem!

Our tour to Tunisia was exceptional for many reasons. First were the incredible visits, guided and thoroughly explained by our magnificent guide Salem, to the Bardo Museum, Tunis' wonderful Medina, the amazing archeological site of Carthage, the baths of Antoninus, Salammbo sacrificial structure, Roman villas, Punic Ports of Carthage, Bulla Regia, Jendouba, Dougga, Teboursouk, Temple of Juno Caelestis, Punic Mausoleum and Roman Theater of Dougga, Kairouan and its Great Mosque and Medina, Tozeur, Chebika, Tamerza Canyon, Chabbat Oasis, Chott El Jerid, Douz, Matmata, El Djem, and beautiful Sousse, and Ribat. However, the most memorable visits were the visit to a cave dwelling owned by two Berber sisters, staying in a cave hotel, and having a blue-eyed Berber make us bread in the Sahara Desert; very tasty. Nevertheless, the entire visit was made unforgettable and free of hassles thanks to our amazing tour guide, that is, Salem, who was always with us, planning everything for us and explaining all the historic sites and their symbolic meaning. Salem is not only very knowledgeable, but I would say, a true erudite who brings the past and present alive in a very easily understandable manner. We will definitely recommend this tour and this company and Salem to all of our friends who plan to visit Tunisia in the near future. Our driver, Marwen, was also exceptional.
