Kom met ons mee in deze once in a lifetime ervaring en beleef het meest ongelooflijke avontuur zwemmen naast de vriendelijke reuzen van deze oceaan. Je ontmoeting zal worden begeleid door onze zeer ervaren gidsen om nog maar te zwijgen van het dragen van onze snorkeluitrusting die is gecertificeerd door National Geographic Snorkelaar. We beginnen het avontuur om je op te halen bij elk hotel in Cancun, Riviera Maya of Playa del Carmen om je naar onze nieuwe privéjachthaven in Punta Sam in Cancun te brengen. Na een licht ontbijt gaan we aan boord en gaan we naar het beschermde gebied tegen walvishaaien, waar we, nadat we ze hebben gevonden, de duiken beginnen, 2 tot 3 per persoon, altijd in koppels en met onze gecertificeerde gids. Voordat we teruggaan naar onze jachthaven, bezoeken we het prachtige strand Playa Norte op Isla Mujeres, waar je een uur hebt om te ontspannen en te genieten van de beste ceviche die door onze bemanning in zicht is bereid.

Onze Whale Shark Encounter begint 's ochtends vroeg, waar, afhankelijk van het hotel of condominium waar u verblijft, onze ervaren chauffeurs van het busje u ophalen bij de lobby of de ingang om u naar onze nieuwe jachthaven in de ferryterminal in Punta Sam in Cancun. Al onze busjes zijn comfortabele A / C-eenheden in perfecte omstandigheden en al onze chauffeurs hebben een vergunning en zijn gecertificeerd om het toerisme op de snelweg te bedienen. Zodra u aankomt in onze jachthaven bent u welkom door ons grondpersoneel en na een snelle check-in, waar u aan uw boot wordt toegewezen, krijgt u de kans om een licht ontbijt te nemen voordat u aan boord gaat. We vertrekken om 7.50 uur en gaan rechtstreeks het beschermde gebied van de walvishaai binnen. Reddingsvesten zijn verplicht vanaf het moment dat je aan boord gaat, dit altijd voor je veiligheid, wat een grote zorg voor ons is. Na een uur komen we aan en vinden de walvishaaien, onze kapitein kiest er een en doet de juiste manouvers met de boot om de zwemt te beginnen, altijd in paren en met onze gecertificeerde gids, 2 bij 2 ga je in het water om te zwemmen naast deze prachtige wezens, er zijn 10 mensen op elke boot, na 2 tot 3 duiken per persoon, om ervoor te zorgen dat iedereen zijn kans krijgt, zullen jullie allemaal aan boord gaan en de terugkeer beginnen, maar voordat we Cancun bereiken hebben we nog een laatste stop, Playa Norte beach in Isla Mujeres. Playa Norte is het mooiste strand van Isla Mujeres en wordt beschouwd als een van de mooiste stranden ter wereld, hier heb je een uur om te ontspannen of, als je wilt, nog meer te snorkelen. Onze kapitein bereidt zijn beroemde ceviche voor terwijl je geniet van je favoriete niet-alcoholische drankje, er zijn ook broodjes verkrijgbaar. Daarna gaan we terug naar onze jachthaven in Cancun, waar onze busjes zullen verwachten dat je klaar bent om terug te gaan naar je hotels na dit prachtige avontuur. Pickups in hotels beginnen om 5.30 uur, afhankelijk van het hotel en de regio waar u verblijft en de boten zijn meestal terug in onze jachthaven tussen 13.00 en 14.00 uur.
Na het walvishaaiavontuur kunt u ontspannen in het paradijselijke Playa Norte, waar u ook kunt genieten van verse ceviche bereid door de kapitein.

We kunnen u ophalen bij de meeste hotels in de hotelzone of het centrum van Cancun, Playa del Carmen en Riviera Maya. Voor Tulum of een andere vakantiewoning bieden wij een ophaalservice vanaf een nabijgelegen ontmoetingspunt.

We were picked up from Impression Isla Mujeres promptly at our scheduled time. Nate and Julian waited a few mins for another couple running a few mins behind. From there we were chauffeured over to the mainland by boat to properly check-in and back on the boat with Nate and Julian. Julian was a phenomenal Captain, expertly guiding us through the offshore chop and finding the sharks. Nate’s direction was clear, and he prepared all of our gear so we were ready to go once we spotted the sharks. Here’s where the trip is worth every single cent. The moment you hit the water and experience these animals face-to-face is incredible. Once-in-a-lifetime. Nate’s athleticism is unmatched. I suffered an injury on this trip prior and my swimming was not as strong. Nate helped to put me in the right spot, and ensure I was safe. My wife is a strong swimmer, so on our second jump, Nate prioritized her to ensure he got incredible GoPro footage of her, and that he did.. Forever grateful for that.. The ride back was relatively smooth, and very relaxing. We were able to talk amongst everyone onboard and have a great time. Playa Norte was such a fun boat raft up experience, and a great way to relax and end the day. I’m not a fish fan, but Nate’s ceviche was handmade and looked incredible. The ham sandwiches perfectly hit the spot as well. Overall, would absolutely recommend over and over again. Must do, and a great day made possible most to Nate and Julian!
Pros: Transportation to/from hotel was wonderful. Check in was easy. Tour guide was nice. Whale sharks were huge and so cool to see!! Cons: We got to go in once for about a minute, then were sent back onto the boat so someone else could have another turn. Our boat broke down in the middle of the ocean. Had to wait for another and jump from the boat and swim to the other. Over half of our group threw up (my husband almost did and he never gets sea sick). Captain was rude the entire time and just kept yelling at us to jump over the edge of the boat because they were on a time frame. It was supposed to be 4-5 hours. We left at 6:30am and didn't get back to our hotel until 2:30pm. Basically, we had about a minute actually swimming with the whale sharks and a half hour swimming at isla. The rest of the time we were all sick on the speed boat. And, since we were so behind schedule, our Isla trip lasted about 1/2 hour and you weren't actually allowed to go to the beach you had to stay in the water near the boat. Final verdict: Whale sharks were amazing. Tour guide was nice. We got to see flying fish which was also really cool. Captain, absolute jerk. Broken boat, spent about 6 hours in the speed boat and were all so sick by the middle of it. Would do it again, but not with this company.
The entire experience was amazing! Willie and Baby Face took such great care of us! We saw many Whale Sharks and Willie stayed with us each swim. Captain Baby Face prepared a delicious Cevice lunch! What a great day!

Giovanni and Captain Gustavo accompanied us. A great and impressive experience. Giovanni was super attentive, helping me get closer and faster to the shark. Absolutely recommended and I would do it again if I return. It is important to bring an underwater camera to take videos because although they sell you the photos and videos later, they cost €82 per person.

Nay was our fantastic guide and Julian our captain on the Alma Luisa (best boat). Weather was good and although the sea was a little choppy this was the most amazing experience. 100% recommend, photos and videos don’t do it justice. We saw whale sharks and Manta rays and got in up close to all of them with help from the captain and guide. A must do.
Nate (guide) and Javier (driver) were both tremendous! They made us feel safe, and made sure we enjoyed everything to its fullest!!

Wonderful experience. Our guide Nate was wonderful and so was our Captain Julian-getting us close to the whale sharks. Amazing experience. FYI 3 out of 10 got seasick so pack some meds.
