Een onvergetelijke tour langs de top 5 watervallen van de Columbia River Gorge en het Crown Point Vista House. Deze tour is speciaal gepland om te genieten van de kleurrijke zonsondergangen bij het Vista House - een episch einde van een onvergetelijke ervaring. Met Waterfall Shuttle zijn de uitzichten beter, is de drukte lager en krijgt u een deskundige gids die u in een kleine groep rondleidt. We besteden 2,5 van de 3,5 uur aan rondlopen en het verkennen van elk van de watervalstaatsparken. Genoeg tijd om foto's te maken of zelfs erin te duiken en een 200 voet hoge douche te nemen. Stap uit de bus en verken een populair lokaal zwemgat onder deze 51 meter hoge waterval. Spring erin op een warme dag of geniet van het uitzicht vanuit de verschillende kijkgebieden.
Een gereserveerde parkeerplaats op de eerste rij brengt ons sneller naar de populairste bestemming in Oregon, zodat we tijd hebben om helemaal tot aan de Benson Bridge te verkennen, een ijsje te pakken en de cadeauwinkel bij de hoogste waterval van Oregon te bekijken.
Een rondwandeling van 0,5 mijl brengt ons naar de spray van een krachtige waterval. Vertaald als "Mooiste" is deze waterval er een die je nooit zult vergeten.
Deze originele rustplaats uit 1915 heeft een hoge brug over een smalle kloof met prachtige watervallen. Een korte wandeling van 100 meter brengt ons naar het beste uitzicht.
Latourell was ooit een bloeiend vissersdorp en is nu een charmant park met een enorme waterval van 90 meter hoog. Maak kennis met de favoriete waterval van veel lokale bewoners in de omgeving.
Het kroonjuweel van de historische Columbia River Highway, het Crown Point Vista House, is het beste uitkijkpunt om de Columbia River Gorge te zien. Bij zonsondergang is de hele kloof een prachtige mix van zonsondergangskleuren die zich vermengen met het water en de bergen, met Portland dat glinstert op de achtergrond. *Let op: de route en reisroute kunnen worden gewijzigd vanwege weg- en weersomstandigheden.

My Guide had an unusually high number of pick ups to manage, which meant I was ready and waiting for an hour. I thought she‘d have to rush through, with so many waterfalls to see before Sunset— but we had a relaxed visit at every stop; the stress of getting underway in heavy traffic never showed in her easy-going, friendly demeanor. Each waterfall was a unique beauty; the short hikes for viewing were barely more than easy strolls. After everything, we arrived at Vista House at the perfect time to enjoy a serene sunset— followed by a short, easy drive to our various pick-up points. I’m so glad I added this “outside” perspective to my three terrific days in Portland.

Beautiful, breathtaking views. The guides were very knowledgeable. 2 of the hikes were a bit steep but the other 3 were very doable. It was a bit cloudy for our trip so the sunset didn’t last that long but still totally worth it. Coming from Alaska, we have our own waterfalls but there was 1 you could get right up next to it. Beautiful! We would definitely recommend this to family and friends. This is an all ages excursion.
Great way to see some of what Portland has to offer in terms of nature. The sunset was phenomenal. Long enough to get a great experience but short enough to not take too much of my seeing the city time
With one free afternoon in Portland, this was THE tour to do! You are able to experience the beauty of the Portland area and pack a lot into a very short time. Kristen was proud to share the trails and parks she grew up with and we were the beneficiaries. I was glad I read other reviews in advance..knew to pack some water, knew it might be hard to hear in the van (it gets better when you get off the main highway), knew I could bring a little wine to sit and enjoy while watching the sunset. I would enhance the information about being able to walk on trails and note that many are steep inclines and loose rocks. If you are not used to hills, not the trip to be on if you really want to see the falls. Overall it was absolutely beautiful and the calm, laid back attitude just felt like Oregon...HIGHLY recommend!
Was a great experience. The ride was comfortable, the tour guide was awesome and the sights were amazing. We missed one of the waterfalls because of a pickup hickup but still saw what I wanted. Was happy we beat the multinomah falls crowds and I got to relax and look at the sights instead of driving.
This was Iovely way to spend an evening & see the beautiful waterfalls around Portland. Our guide Johnny was friendly, cordial & informative not only about the areas we were seeing but also shared historical & scientific information as well as answer random questions. I truly enjoyed the tour!
