Charmant Zia in de zuidelijkste helling, waarvan de uitstekende locatie het de perfecte plek maakt voor het bekijken van spectaculaire zonsondergangen en staren naar de nabijgelegen eilanden Kalymnos en Pserimos evenals de Turkse kust in de verte. Tijdens de zomer barst de nederzetting van Zia van activiteit van de talloze bezoekers die lokale delicatessen komen proeven die worden geserveerd in charmante traditionele tavernes, om unieke lokale producten en souvenirs te kopen en om door de geplaveide steegjes te wandelen tot aan het kristalheldere zoetwaterbronnen, waarvan de meest bekende Kefalovrisi is.

Deze reis is ontworpen om je alle vrijheid te geven die je wilt om Zia op je eigen voorwaarden te ontdekken. De minibus haalt je op bij je hotel en brengt je naar het centrum. U zult genieten van het ontdekken van het dorp zelf, in uw eigen tempo, zonder gids. Zia is een betoverend klein dorpje dat aan de voet van de berg Dikeos ligt, de hoogste berg van het eiland Kos, dat culmineert op 846 meter boven zeeniveau. Het dorp heeft zijn traditionele uitstraling behouden en is een van de belangrijkste toeristische attracties van het eiland geworden. Hier vindt u vele kleine winkeltjes met lokale producten, kunst en ambachten. De sfeer is erg ontspannen en u zult genieten van uw drankje of dineren op een romantisch terras terwijl u geniet van de mooiste zonsondergang op Kos. We raden je aan om de beroemde heerlijke zelfgemaakte limonade te proberen die overal wordt geserveerd. Je hebt ongeveer 2 en een half uur vrije tijd.

Nice small village Zia with a beautiful sunset. The transfer was very good in luxury small van and perfect on time.
Very safe and reliable transport to Zia and back. He picked us up near our hotel early! And was there 5 minutes before pickup ready. We had two guys that didn't turn up when they should have so we left them after 10 minutes of waiting. If I want to sit in a taverna and look at the sunset in there, make sure to make a reservation ahead of time as most spots with the views are booked up. Otherwise, it was a stunning village that Is a must see!!

Everything worked out well! Were picked up on time in front of the hotel! The ride was very pleasant in a minibus for 20 people!

The actual trip to Zia, the village, the place where we ate and watched the sunset (East Blue - highly recommend ) and the sunset itself was well worth the eventual upset after our driver left early leaving us stranded half way up the mountain ! Thankfully the restaurant phoned us a taxi and we were able to get back to our hotel. I had to prove we were at the pickup point before the pickup time before I got a refund. Be warned, the drivers always leave early, we had two other trips on Kos and the drivers both left early. Get there 10 minutes before pickup time is my advice !!
Very nice experience but paid for four hours and we could only stay for three hours 😰 So, barely after the sun set, we had to take the minibus back. Too bad
A must have trip, best sunset we've seen any where in the world. Picked up on the dot, dropped in zia and taken home on time. We ate at Olympia (superb) then walked up a quiet road to the old water mill and had a lovely banana split, drinks and the best view.
If you are in Kos, I highly recommend visiting Zia! 💙 It is a destination that really is worth seeing. Enjoy a wonderful meal, walk the picturesque alleys, discover the beautiful traditional shops and let the enchanting atmosphere travel. And when the sunset time comes... just sit down and enjoy the view. The colors of the sky and the panoramic image of Kos create a breathtaking spectacle. I highly recommend it! Zia is a beautiful little town with lovely shops and lovely eateries. The local people were very welcoming. The sunset was beautiful. Definitely recommend for an evening trip.
