Charmant Zia in de zuidelijkste helling, waarvan de uitstekende locatie het de perfecte plek maakt voor het bekijken van spectaculaire zonsondergangen en staren naar de nabijgelegen eilanden Kalymnos en Pserimos evenals de Turkse kust in de verte. Tijdens de zomer barst de nederzetting van Zia van activiteit van de talloze bezoekers die lokale delicatessen komen proeven die worden geserveerd in charmante traditionele tavernes, om unieke lokale producten en souvenirs te kopen en om door de geplaveide steegjes te wandelen tot aan het kristalheldere zoetwaterbronnen, waarvan de meest bekende Kefalovrisi is.

Deze reis is ontworpen om je alle vrijheid te geven die je wilt om Zia op je eigen voorwaarden te ontdekken. De minibus haalt je op bij je hotel en brengt je naar het centrum. U zult genieten van het ontdekken van het dorp zelf, in uw eigen tempo, zonder gids. Zia is een betoverend klein dorpje dat aan de voet van de berg Dikeos ligt, de hoogste berg van het eiland Kos, dat culmineert op 846 meter boven zeeniveau. Het dorp heeft zijn traditionele uitstraling behouden en is een van de belangrijkste toeristische attracties van het eiland geworden. Hier vindt u vele kleine winkeltjes met lokale producten, kunst en ambachten. De sfeer is erg ontspannen en u zult genieten van uw drankje of dineren op een romantisch terras terwijl u geniet van de mooiste zonsondergang op Kos. We raden je aan om de beroemde heerlijke zelfgemaakte limonade te proberen die overal wordt geserveerd. Je hebt ongeveer 2 en een half uur vrije tijd.

Hotel pick up was on time ,zai was a lovely places to visit ,sunset was spectacular,lots of nice restaurants too eat in ,would recommend people to visit
Nice sunset. Find a restaurant with views where you get the best photos. There are a lot of people there where you get the best look. The tour is only driving to and from the city.
It was a great experience, everything was good.
If you book this trip with viatour make sure you contact them for the exact time of your pick up as it differs from what is advertised picked up in a brand new black transit van the driver was the most miserable man never spoke at all until we got to zia then when he did speak make sure uour back for 845pm he could have told the people on board that you need to book a table at a restaurant if uou wished to eat nothing whatsoever silent going back to kos town put it this way I won't be using via your again
Booked with this company which was easy. Informed about pick up time and location which was close to the hotel. Driver arrived on time, who was very friendly. Only 10 people in total on a lovely air conditioned bus. The price of the tour was excellent £38 for 2 adults. Arrived in Zia village which was beautiful. Lovely little shops selling local produce and hand made gifts. Lovely restaurants also. We ate at Olympia2 which had been recommended to us. A lovely restaurant with roof top terrace. Staff very friendly and helpful. Prices are good and portion sizes large. Food was lovely. I had beetroot starter with garlic dip and pitta, partner had garlic mushrooms. For main, I had pork chop which was huge and partner had chicken fillet which was also big. A litre of wine and the total cost was €70. To end the evening we saw the most amazing sunset. We met with a lovely Dutch couple who was sat on the next table. Thank you for an excellent trip. Highly recommend
It was great, I would recommend it. The driver was very nice and was punctual. Very careful.
I mistakenly thought I would visit a typical village; it is nothing more than a collection of numerous stalls and taverns for tourists. Buses pass through the narrow streets of the small center among the people, as do cars and quads. The view is beautiful; one can enjoy a lovely sunset. Although it is not yet high season, you should get in line to admire it unless you make a reservation in advance at the taverns with terraces. There is nothing to say about the landscape; it is stunning.
Amazing views and a beautiful meal at Olympus 2
Unfortunately we was left as driver picked up wrong couple , however I text the company and they quickly rectified it and sent a private driver about 25 mins later. Lovely views and plenty of bars and restaurants there
Last minute pickup time change and when we couldn’t make the new time we were ghosted and never heard from them again. Very unprofessional and no refund was provided!
