Phil was amazing and wonderful photographer. I learn some new trick on how take pictures on the I phone. I recommend him for the next Photoshoot.

This was just the type of tour I was looking for. The day turned out to be rainy but with my host’s high energy and love of photography, it was a blast! I highly recommend this tour and I wish it was longer, even in the rain.

Like our brains, we probably only use 1/10th of the capabilities of our smartphone cameras. Our family (7 of us) went out with Phil for a birthday celebration. Phil is a pro photographer and it was a treat to get some of his time to tour us. Phil is down-to-earth and easy to talk to, naturally outgoing. His tour is engaging and informative, and he provided insight into photography, Instagram and Amsterdam. Phil was flexible to meet us at and return us to our hotel, classy. He took the time to pay special attention to each person, making them feel like they had their own photography coach, easily adapting his advice to the skill level of our wide age-range. To boot: my 19-year-old niece enjoyed a bit of #modelstatus (it was her birthday). Our family photo that Phil took as part of the tour will be included in our Christmas card, for sure! Very high value for the cost. Some unedited short reviews from our family... From 19-yr-old: We learned simple tricks to take professional quality photographs while touring off-the-beaten-path Amsterdam. From 14-yr-old: Illuminative. From 12-yr-old: Phil was patient, letting us stop and take photos, not rushing us. He talked just the right amount, not too much. From 10-yr-old: I liked learning how to take a #puddlegram. From our 7-yr-old: I didn’t know how you could focus before. [he started with zero photography experience] Including some images the kids took on the tour and my images of my family trying new things.

What a great tour this was. We had a blast walking through some hidden spots of Amsterdam thanks to Phil’s knowledge of the city. And learning how to photograph it all with our phones was made so simple with him. He's a great communicator and the whole experience was the highlight of our Amsterdam adventure. We did some other tours in the city where we felt more like a number, whereas with Phil its more relaxed, fun and personable. Highly recommended!

Phil’s Amsterdam tour was unforgettable! I got to explore the culture and environment of traditional Amsterdam which you won’t come across unless you know where to go. Had a great laugh and learnt so much about photography and the city of Amsterdam. Look forward to heading on a tour with Phil next time I’m in Amsterdam !

We just had the best day touring Amsterdam thanks to our Gram the Dam tour with Phil Yisrael as our guide! We have new iPhones with amazing cameras—but to be honest, half of its features we didn't understand. We wanted to see the sights AND get some awesome photos (without getting run over by a zillion bikes!) and Phil knew just where to go. Seeing Amsterdam in the company of a professional photographer was amazing! It helped that Phil is Australian so no language difficulties here. I would heartily recommend Phil's tour as a unique way to leave Amsterdam with great memories AND great photos!

I visited Amsterdam with my daughter in May 2019 and we decided to try a tour that was not a cliched glance of one of Europe's most beautiful cities. We loved Phil's Instagram tour. We got to walk through some of the most picturesque neighborhoods of Amsterdam and all the while learning about how to capture the beauty perfectly with our iphone, and some amazing editing tips that, let's face it, all amateurs need. Phil is a relaxed, charming Australian who has lived in the city for 14 yrs and knows all the best spots. His knowledge of photography and Instagram really came across and left us both taking the kind of pictures that inspired us in the first place. The best 2 hours of our stay!

This isn't an historical walkabout in the city, it's a fun and educational experience with Phil, an Australian Instagrammer who's lived in Amsterdam for 13 years. He taught me how to take great photos with my iPhone (and my little Nikon camera as well) which show my adopted city to my family back in the States in the least cliché ways. We walked around the city centre and found not just cool spots to shoot but also some 'secrets' to taking amazing photos and doing professional-looking edits with various apps that I didn't know about. Phil's so personable and nice as well. Can't recommend the tour highly enough.
