Twee wielen en een dorst naar avontuur zijn alles wat je nodig hebt als je op een Pedego elektrische fiets rond Amelia Island rijdt. Neem deze zelfstandige en aanpasbare tour die begint bij Pedego Amelia en vaar door zeven mijl natuurlijke gelukzaligheid naar Big Talbot Island State Park. Het pad zit vol met prachtige landschappen, en misschien zie je een paar van de lokale wilde dieren langs de rit. Een slimme helm is inbegrepen bij de self-guided tour. Met de helm kun je met iedereen in je groep praten en je kunt hem koppelen aan muziek op je telefoon als je dat wilt. Omdat u niet met een tourgroep bent, is deze tour aanpasbaar en kunnen extra stops worden aanbevolen bij de fietswinkel. Opmerking : Helmen verplicht. U moet voor vertrek verklaren dat u de afgelopen 5 jaar veilig hebt gefietst.

Tijdens deze tour rijden we 7 mijl van het door de Amelia-eilanden aangewezen fietspad af, over de George Crady Bridge, en naar Big Talbot Island, waar we een klein pad naar het strand rijden voor een rit langs het zand, als de getijden het toelaten. De kracht van de fiets maakt onze tocht door het zand gemakkelijk luchtig. Deze tour biedt een voorproefje van de natuurlijke schoonheid en dieren in het wild van de Amelia-eilanden terwijl we door met mos beladen levende eiken fietsen, langs natuurlijke waterwegen en over kustpaden. Op de terugweg hebben rijders de mogelijkheid om te stoppen bij de winkels van Amelia Island voor wat verfrissingen voordat ze terugkeren naar de Pedego Store. *Optionele tussenstop afhankelijk van beschikbaarheid van fietsen

We had a wonderful experience with Pedego Electric Bikes Amelia Island! I honestly wasn’t sure how I’d feel about e-bikes because I’ve always appreciated traditional biking, but this completely changed my perspective. You still ride at your own pace — the bike simply assists when you want it to. You can pedal fully on your own, use a little boost, or get more support when needed. For me personally, having some physical limitations, it made such a difference. We spent about three hours exploring Amelia Island, enjoying the scenery and unexpected bits of history, without ending the day completely exhausted. Rob was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. He made everything easy, comfortable, and enjoyable from start to finish. Such a fun, relaxing, and memorable experience!
Bikes were great, but most of trail was along the Highway we drove in. We were asked to come late, due to bikes not being available at our start time and then told we needed to be back in less than 2 hours due to closing time. Also the smart headset was not charged and ran out of battery after about 5 minutes. Not impressed
I would rate our trip 4.9 out of 5! I can only deduct the 0.1 bx My Husband swears he couldn’t hear me talking to him from my helmet. I would swear his hearing is going…… On our last vacation he forgot to book my plane ticket…. so… It was fantastic! So much fun! I would highly recommend, I think everyone needs to try this. The training was very thorough. And we just cycled & cycled & cycled! Sometimes you forget you have the little booster to jazz you up a hill, but when you remember, euphoria! Everyone should own one of these! We went south & north & on the beach! We had the bikes for 3 hours and loved every moment! Please give this a try! You have saddlebags to pack snacks or water bottles (although they provide 1 each).
The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. We really appreciate them and we would use them again if we are ever in the area.
This self-guided tour was a blast! My son and I had the best time. We made it down to Big Talbot Island, rode across the wood bridge, past the bird sanctuary and down to beach area and rode the bikes on the beach. It was the first time we had ever rode electric bikes and they were awesome!
Lots of fun and the company was great to work with, very friendly! The bikes were easy to use and appeared to be well maintained.

This was a great way to see Amelia Island. Some of the best bike trails I’ve been on. Didn’t think I would like the smart helmets but turned out they were great to communicate with the other rider.
