Terwijl u rijdt, komt u langs Teton Village, de thuisbasis van enkele van de beste (en meest intense) skiën overal in de VS. Opmerking : De tour is meer dan 57 mijl lang, met meer dan 65 + audio verhalen, en duurt ongeveer 2 - 3 uur te voltooien. Nieuw, Levenslang toegang, geen vervaldatum. Vervolgens rijd je door het Laurence S. Rockefeller Preserve, een uitgestrekt natuurreservaat waar elanden en andere bergbeestjes leven.
Het eerste pad dat je ziet is de Taggart Lake Trail, een lus van 10 kilometer die leidt naar een paar enorme, ongerepte meren: Taggart Lake en Bradley Lake.
Daarna stop je bij een opkomst met een geweldig uitzicht op de grootste gletsjer in het park, en krijg je wat feiten over hoeveel groter het nog maar 100 jaar geleden was!
De volgende is een van de populairste attracties van het park: Jenny Lake. De thuisbasis van fenomenale paden en prachtige kustlijn, er is een reden waarom dit een must-see is!
Daarna heb je de kans om de beroemde Cascade Canyon te bekijken. 12.000 jaar geleden uitgehouwen door een enorme gletsjer, dit is een van de bepalende kenmerken van het park!
Dan krijg je een geweldige blik op Mount Moran, de imposante piek van 12.610 voet die uittorent boven Jackson Lake.
Zie je die eenkamercabine verderop? Deze kleine blokhut is eigenlijk een bisschoppelijke kerk! Zorg ervoor dat u parkeert en stap uit voor een aantal ongelooflijke uitzichten.
Als je verder gaat, bereik je de Jackson Lake Dam, met een verbluffend uitzicht op het meer aan de ene kant en Snake River aan de andere kant.
Vervolgens passeer je Colter Bay, een belangrijk kampeerknooppunt en een plek met een verrassende geschiedenis van de veeteelt.
Het volgende uitkijkpunt dat u tegenkomt, biedt gewoon een onovertroffen uitzicht op Jackson Lake en de majestueuze bergen daarachter. Dit is een plek die je niet mag missen!
Een optionele omweg brengt je naar Cattleman's Bridge, een cool overblijfsel van de veeboerderijen uit Jackson's vroege jaren.
Verderop bereik je Snake River Overlook, waar de beroemde fotograaf Ansel Adams een van de meest bekende foto's heeft gemaakt die ooit in de Tetons zijn gemaakt.
Een ander uitzichtpunt wacht vlak voor je op Teton Point Turnout en biedt een glimp van een serieus vreemde geologie.
Vervolgens kom je aan bij Glacier View Turnout, met uitzicht op niet één, niet twee, maar drie enorme gletsjers!
Op dit moment ben je niet ver van de National Elk Refuge. Dit toevluchtsoord, opgericht in 1912, beschermt een van de grootste kuddes elanden ter wereld!

Lots of great information. Love the gps feature so that it always is telling you information that matches where you physically are located. Most of the tours don’t allow pets. With this tour we could drive our own vehicle with our pet included!

Even though I downloaded it, the program didn’t keep up all the time and skipped a number of stops. Very frustrating.

The app was a little difficult to get started but worked perfectly once we started. The program was downloaded while we had WiFi but we couldn’t get started until we found WiFi again.
