Zeiltocht rond de Bacalar-lagune
Beschrijving
Begeef je op het avontuur van het leren kennen van de Bacalar-lagune. Aan boord van onze ranger 26, de Taan'ik (naar de wind gericht in de Maya-taal), staan wij tot uw beschikking om u een unieke ervaring te bieden. Als u per zeilboot de lagune van de 7 kleuren bezoekt, kunt u uw perspectief veranderen en de ongelooflijke tinten van het kristalheldere water ontdekken. De tour begint bij het Sun Lagoon Marina-dok, gelegen aan de kustlaan. De bemanning zal je begeleiden naar het piratenkanaal, de negercenote, de cenote van Esmeralda, de cenote Cocalitos, het vogeleiland en het verlaten hotel. Wacht niet langer! en laat je verleiden door de magie die de lagune ons geeft, de bemanning zal er alles aan doen zodat je de beste herinneringen aan je reis wegneemt.

Ga met ons mee om de prachtige Bacalar-lagune te verkennen en ontdekken, ook wel bekend als de grootste zoetwaterkoraalbarrière ter wereld. Tijdens de tour bezoeken we het Pirates Channel, waar we kunnen zwemmen en leren over de geschiedenis ervan. We bezoeken een van de diepste cenotes op het schiereiland Yucatan, we kunnen vogels kijken op de verschillende eilanden en tot slot bezoeken we het Abandonado-hotel. Opgemerkt moet worden dat onze reizen worden uitgevoerd met Engelse, Spaanse of Franse vertalers.

Benito and Louisa made for a lovely afternoon. Their friendly and welcoming nature set the tone for a truly enjoyable experience. Louisa’s wealth of knowledge about the lagoon’s history and natural vegetation really enriched our sailing trip. The small sailboat allowed us to travel in a smaller group, creating a much more intimate atmosphere. I highly recommend booking this if you’re in the Bacalar area!

We really enjoyed learning about the lagoon and it's natural, unique features. There was lots of sailing and two opportunities to swim.

The place is easy to find, nice welcome, departure on time to discover the lagoon. Unfortunately the wind was not at the RV, small engine so short excursion! Really friendly captain and first mate with good knowledge of the area. We did not see and were entitled to everything that was described in the presentation sheet, for my part it was a small disappointment, fortunate that the lagoon was as magnificent as expected, a real visual joy!
Sailing trip in the Bacalar lagoon, a “must”! This lagoon is certainly the most beautiful place in the Yucatan..., Louisa's very interesting explanations about the cenotes and the lagoon and the professionalism of Benito, the captain, made this outing a real success..., a young company which greatly deserves to be supported and which offers a high quality service to tourists.
Charly was our captain and was great. He really knew how to handle a sailboat and was knowledgeable of the Bacalar Lagoon. It was a very good afternoon and even though the clouds came in we saw a brilliant sunset.

The best way to see the lagoon - went to some amazing swim spots, had some delicious fruit & beers, and Sarah & Benito were amazing hosts!! Would 100% recommend to friends, solo travellers or couples looking for an authentic and relaxing boat ride ☺️
