Zeehondenkajakken op Pelican Point vanuit Walvisbaai
Beschrijving
Alle andere bedrijven willen dat u gebruik maakt van of uw eigen vervoer vindt naar Walvisbay en Pelican Point, wij zijn inclusief vervoer en we halen u op en zetten u af bij elke accommodatie langs de kust. We zijn inclusief een lichte lunch en lokale drankjes. We gebruiken nieuwe moderne onzinkbare kajaks die gemakkelijk voor iedereen te gebruiken zijn en die niet kapseizen. Iedereen krijgt een zwemvest en de gids zal je coachen over het gebruik van de Kayak. Geen eerdere ervaring vereist. Het is een must voor de actieve reiziger. Mocht een groep op een andere plek willen kajakken dat is ook mogelijk, neem dan contact met ons op en laten we kijken of het mogelijk is.

We stoppen bij de Flamingo's en bekijken de vele prachtige vogels bij de Lagune. Mogelijk zien we Pelikanen en sterns. De route voert ons langs de roze zoutmeren van de enorme Zoutmijn en we leren hoe het werkt. We gaan dan noordwaarts naar Pelican Point; de vuurtoren waar de 50.000 zeehondenkolonie is. We vinden een geschikte plek om de kajaks uit te laden en varen vervolgens de baai in. De zeehonden zwemmen rond de kajaks, wat een geweldige ervaring. Na afloop serveren wij enkele koele drankjes en broodjes. Dan helpt iedereen mee met het inladen van de kajaks en langzaam gaan we terug naar Walvisbaai.

Onze Gids haalt alle reizigers op in de lobby van uw hotel/pension. Alle passagiers van cruiseschepen : Kijk uit naar ons tuinhuisje met de naam Desert Dunes and Dust Tours op als u de cruiseliner verlaat. Sandwich Harbour Tours is een zusterbedrijf van Desert Dunes and Dust Tours

- Als u met een grote groep bent, praat dan met ons en wij zullen de prijs verlagen. Meer dan 6 personen en we kunnen de prijs voor iedereen verlagen
- Let op: Duitse gidsen zijn beperkt en we hebben niet de capaciteit om iedereen een Duitse gids te geven, Deze worden toegewezen op basis van wie het eerst komt, het eerst maalt. Let op: we kunnen niet garanderen dat er een Duitse gids op elke tour!!
- Let op alle Cruise Liner passagiers, uw tour pick-up tijd begint een uur nadat u bent afgemeerd. De tour vertrekt uiterlijk anderhalf uur na de ophaaltijd. Laatkomers worden beschouwd als een no show

One of the best experiences of our lives! Our tour guide, Stephan, was so enthusiastic to share his knowledge and to give insight into everything we passed by. We never felt unsafe - he knew what he was doing. And the seals... oh my word!! It was surreal to be so close to them and actually have them jump on the kayaks. We could not recommend this any more highly!

We booked the full-day tour with pickup in Swakop and absolutely loved it. We had a great time both kayaking and on the trip to Sandwich Harbour. Our guide, Le Clue, was with us the whole time and taught us so much about Namibia! He also treated us to some great snacks. Le Clue was one of the best guides we’ve ever had on all our travels. It's a fascinating experience. All very well organized. Our guide Andrew has been extraordinarily attentive to us. He has given us explanations about animals, plants, geology, history... He has also taken us comfortably in the 4x4 on roads and dunes. The kayak ride with hundreds of friendly seals has been unforgettable. A dream come true!! A magnificent picnic on the way back to the coast has capped the excursion before returning to the hotel in a relaxed manner. I recommend this activity!!

Just had an amazing morning with Volker kayaking among juvenile seals. So much fun. We got up really close to them and it was a beautiful experience to witness these playful creatures at close quarters. Definitely a thumbs up from me.
