Van de zee tot de centrale bergen en zelfs ondergronds, tijdens deze tour zie je het allerbeste van Gran Canaria. Je komt meer dan 300 mariene soorten van dichtbij tegen in het Poema del Mar-aquarium, rijdt door de groene vallei van Guayadeque om te lunchen in een restaurant dat uit een grot is gehouwen en rondt af met vrije tijd in de koloniale stad Agüimes. Miguel, een van onze lokale gidsen, zegt: 'Er zit zoveel in één dag. Maar voor mij is het meest interessante deel Guayadeque, dat een heel belangrijk deel van onze prehistorie vertegenwoordigt.'
De eerste is een van de meest populaire attracties in Las Palmas. Met gebogen panoramische ramen en talloze tentoonstellingen kun je in Poema del Mar verdwalen in een hypnotiserende onderwaterwereld met honderden zeedieren. Er zijn sidderalen, stierhaaien en vissen die precies op Nemo lijken. 'De kinderen zijn altijd blij in Poema del Mar', zegt Miguel.
Vervolgens reis je door de groenste hoek van het eiland naar de Guayadeque-kloof. Het is beroemd om zijn grotwoningen, die de oude aboriginals bouwden in lavabellen, en kronkelende wandelpaden. Ga een in een klif uitgehouwen grot binnen die is omgebouwd tot een restaurant en geniet van een tapaslunch gemaakt van lokale ingrediënten.
Daarna gaat het naar Agüimes voor wat vrije tijd in deze mooie, pastelkleurige parochie die boven het groene ravijn van Guayadeque uittorent. Je kunt de elegante kerk zien, stoppen voor een kopje koffie in een plaatselijk café of selfies maken bij de vele standbeelden van de stad.

We stayed as part of a group round trip in early March for 2 weeks on China trip, including domestic flight, express train rides and river cruise and bus. Everything was very well organized, the hotels were consistently very good, the tour guides were all very competent, informative and friendly. The food was excellent, no matter what hotel or restaurant, there was great choice and plenty. China is a great country, everything is organized. The many surveillance cameras have given us not fear but security. We felt safe everywhere, there were no negative events. All cities, roads, trains, stations, buses, sights.....are very clean. Cleaning crews are always on the move, keeping everything clean and collecting garbage, there are no butts, gum, graffiti. Everywhere there were public, very clean toilets - of course free of charge - not paid and dirty as in Germany. The people are very friendly and helpful - despite language barrier, with the translation app that worked. With cash payment there was no problem at all, in the big banks you could change money, which is a bit complex for the bank staff (passport scanning, copying, hotel addresses etc.), but it was done very friendly. The sights are very well maintained. We cannot confirm many prejudices and negative reports that are told and written with us at all. We can only highly recommend this country - pity it was only 2 weeks, we would have endured it even longer :)!
They should know exactly where they are being picked up and have the correct booking reference and name. We and the coach were waiting 15 minutes because the guide had a different reference number to us!
Loved the aquarium but nothing else on this trip. The lunch was ridiculous which was tapas style nonsense! Better to save money and just do the aquarium. Nothing else to see

Great service, varied tasty lunch. Coffee with oat milk is possible. Too bad about the music. Too harsh and aimed at young target audience. Could be a bit softer or preferably completely gone. The couple next to us was annoyed by it too.
