Ontdek de hoogtepunten van Stone Town tijdens een begeleide wandeling. Bekijk de oude slavenmarkt, de Anglicaanse kathedraal van Christus en het Sultans Palace Museum. Bewonder de architectuur van de stad en leer over haar geschiedenis. Begin je rondleiding op de belangrijkste stadsmarkt, die werd geopend in 1904. Krijg een uitgebreid beeld van de architectuur van Stone Town, de eeuwenoude huizen van zand en steen, waarvan sommige Arabisch/Indisch zijn met gebeeldhouwde deuren met koperen noppen en gebeeldhouwde balkons . Ga verder naar het oude postkantoor en het huis waar Freddy Mercury werd geboren. Stop bij de Anglicaanse kathedraal van Christus, op de plek van de oude slavenmarkt. Vanaf hier gaat u verder naar het Sultans Palace Museum, House of Wonders (Beit-el-ajaib) en het oude Arabische fort. Rond uw tour af in de Forodhani-tuin.

Deze begeleide wandeling van 3 uur neemt je mee naar een van de zeven werelderfgoedlocaties in Tanzania. Het is de enige op de eilanden van Zanzibar. Het werd in 2000 door UNESCO uitgeroepen tot officieel werelderfgoed vanwege de unieke architectuur, geschiedenis en cultuur. De tour zal ook een bezoek brengen aan de voormalige slavenmarkt, het wonderhuis, het oude fort en zelfs langs de geboorteplaats van Freddie Mercury. Dit is zeker een tour die je niet mag missen.

A little bit disappointed by the tour to be honest. We learned few interesting things but I thought the guide would adapt his speech for our 2 children.
Isaac, our guide give it his all. He was really good and we had a thousand questions which he answered with patience. Instead of the usual 3 hour your, Isaac took 4,5 hours with us. A really good tour and Isaac was exceptional!

My tour guide. ABDI, was amazing. He brought an umbrella with him, because it was rainy season and it did rain. He was very knowledgeable about the tour plus I had a lots of questions about Zanzibar that had nothing to do with the tour. We weren't rush and I got to move at my speed. Somethings I was really curious about and other things not so much. If you tale the tour, ask for Abdi, you won't regret it!
Had a very interesting tour with the cheerful and enthusiastic Abdi. Also nice for our 3 year old son. He knows a lot of history about the city. In a few hours you will get a very good impression of the city of Stone Town. Recommended!
Our guide Omar has a lot of knowledge, his Italian speech is perfect, he brings us into Stone Town in Zanzibar, in its story, touching the most important sites of the city. Thanks to him we have some good savings for the food and for the gift we bought in the market.
Abdi and his team were very wonderful. Starting from the warm welcome we received at the airport to all the beautiful places that we visited like safari blue, nungwi beach , jozani forest, mnemba island , cuza cave and other places where we had so much fun. We took beautiful photos and learnt a lot about the people and culture .It was a wonderful experience and I strongly recommend Abdi for anyone going to zanzibar. He’s good at his job 👍
Abdi was a great tour guide, I made 3 different tours with him all all of them went really well, even wen l had a little accident during one of the tour Abdi was really amazing taking me to a local hospital, he is very kind and always attentive to our needs, he was a lot of knowledge about all the places in the island and also about the historical interests. I really recommend him as a tour guide to all the tourists that want to explore and have fun in Zanzibar.
