Als de zon ondergaat en de meeste boten terugkeren naar de haven, begint uw avontuur. Let op : deze tour rijdt alleen op vrijdag. Uitgevoerd door hetzelfde lokale team achter onze hoog gewaardeerde Small Group Turtle Tour Zakynthos, bezoekt deze ervaring veel van dezelfde hoogtepunten - waaronder schildpadden spotten, Turtle Island en de Keri Caves - plus de adembenemende Mizithres bij zonsondergang. Spot schildpadden in het kalme water van het Zakynthos Marine Park met een ervaren lokale kapitein, en geniet vervolgens van een duik of strandwandeling op Turtle Island. Cruise langs de prachtige Keri Caves — met onze kleine boot kunnen we zelfs de grotten verkennen. Zwem in Mizithres in kristalhelder water onder torenhoge witte kliffen voordat je de zon onder de horizon ziet zakken op een van de meest spectaculaire locaties van Zakynthos. Kleine groepen betekenen meer ruimte, flexibele timing en een persoonlijke band met uw kapitein. Een ontspannen en onvergetelijke manier om de mooiste kant van Zakynthos te ontdekken.

Cameo eiland is een andere beroemde locatie op Zakynthos en een andere must see locatie. Het is een klein eilandje dat alleen bereikbaar is via een kleine touwbrug. Het is een populaire trouwlocatie vanwege de perfecte locatie en schoonheid. U kunt het eiland niet bereiken via de boot vanwege de rotsen, maar uw kapitein zal in de buurt komen waardoor u de perfecte foto's kunt maken.
Jaarlijks trekken honderden Caretta Caretta zeeschildpadden naar de kusten van Zakynthos. Deze tour geeft je de perfecte gelegenheid om ze te zien zwemmen in hun natuurlijke habitat. Onze kleine boot heeft geen last of schaduw van de schildpadden. Ze zwemmen vaak vrolijk langs de kant van de boot onwetend van het feit dat wij er zijn. Dit geeft u gemoedsrust wetende dat we hen niet storen. dit geeft ons ook de perfecte uitzicht en vakantiefoto's. Plus als uw kapitein denkt dat het veilig is voor u en de schildpadden zal hij u toestaan om in te springen en rustig naast hen te zwemmen waardoor u een ervaring krijgt die u nooit zult vergeten.
Zakynthos Marine Park is een groot beschermd gebied vanwege de komst van de Caretta Caretta zeeschildpadden elke zomer. Slechts een klein deel van het Marine Park is per boot bereikbaar om ervoor te zorgen dat de schildpadden in alle rust kunnen genieten van hun natuurlijke habitat. Uiteraard volgt deze tour de strenge richtlijnen zodat we de schildpadden niet storen.
Meer algemeen bekend als 'Turtle Island.' Niet alleen is dit een belangrijk broedstrand voor de zeeschildpadden, maar het eiland heeft ook de vorm van een reuzenmoederschildpad! Je vaart rond Turtle Island en ontdekt zijn kleine grotten en verborgen stranden voordat je stopt op het belangrijkste prachtige strand om te zonnebaden, zwemmen en misschien zelfs een traktatie van een van de drijvende bars met koude drankjes en ijs.
Je verkent de grote grotten en baaien van Keri, waar je stopt voor een duik in het kristalheldere blauwe water. Een voordeel van het gebruik van een kleine boot is dat je daadwerkelijk de grotten kunt betreden – iets wat grotere boten niet kunnen doen. Binnen zie je spectaculaire zonlichtreflecties van het diepe water, waardoor ze helderblauw worden. Als je zin hebt in avontuur, kun je zelfs door een kleine verbindingstunnel tussen de grotten zwemmen.
Het moment waar je op hebt gewacht. ‘Mizithres’ is een prachtige rotsformatie die als twee gigantische haaienvinnen uit de zee oprijst. Het water hier is een prachtige elektrische blauw als gevolg van de witte kalksteen in het gebied. Voordat de zon ondergaat, heb je tijd om te zwemmen, het strand te bezoeken of zelfs door de gigantische rots te zwemmen, waardoor een nog indrukwekkender strand wordt onthuld. Voor de zonsondergang zal uw kapitein de boot in de rotsen positioneren om u het beste uitzicht op de zonsondergang te geven. Maak je klaar voor de perfecte zonsondergang foto's.

Wat is inbegrepen
Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Transfers van retourhotels zijn inbegrepen van resorts binnen een straal van 6 km van Zakynthos Airport (Zakynthos Town, Argassi, Kalamaki en Laganas). We streven ernaar om gasten rechtstreeks bij hun accommodatie op te halen; om de totale reistijd te minimaliseren, kan er echter af en toe een handig ophaalpunt in de buurt worden geregeld. Vertrek- en ophaaltijden van de tour kunnen variëren met maximaal 30 minuten aan weerszijden van de vermelde vertrektijd vanwege meerdere ophaallocaties, verkeersomstandigheden en seizoensgebonden operationele vereisten. U wordt altijd van tevoren op de hoogte gesteld van uw exacte ophaaltijd. Pickups van gebieden net buiten deze zone, zoals Tsilivi, zijn beschikbaar voor een retour (heen en terug) pick-up fee van € 5 per persoon. Pickups van alle andere delen van het eiland zijn beschikbaar op aanvraag en onder voorbehoud van bevestiging, en kunnen een extra vergoeding, afhankelijk van de afstand. Helaas kunnen we niet bij Vasilikos ophalen. Argassi is de dichtstbijzijnde beschikbare opstapplaats voor Vasilikos gasten. Gasten kunnen ook een gewenste ophaallocatie aanvragen binnen de inbegrepen straal. We raden u aan om na het boeken en voorafgaand aan de tour contact op te nemen met de leverancier om de exacte ophaalplaats, tijd en eventuele toeslag te bevestigen.

- De boot is goed bereikbaar via het strand maar niet rolstoeltoegankelijk. Het is een 100 meter lopen van de parkeerplaats. De kapitein ontmoet u op de parkeerplaats (officieel ontmoetingspunt van de tour) en leidt u naar de boot. Om de boot in te gaan moeten we naar de boot lopen en via een kleine trap de achterkant van de boot op. De kapitein en bemanning zullen u helpen. Om de boot te bereiken moeten we tien meter door ondiep water lopen.
- In overeenstemming met de voorschriften van de plaatselijke Haven Autoriteit, kunnen we één geldig identiteitsbewijs met foto (paspoort, nationale identiteitskaart of rijbewijs) van ten minste één lid van elke boekingsgroep voor vertrek vereisen. Het legitimatiebewijs is alleen nodig om de passagiersgegevens vast te leggen en wordt direct geretourneerd.

Loved this small group sunset tour. We saw turtles, and toured around the south of the island dipping into some wonderful caves. The sunset was stunning. We felt that we got to see everything at a more peaceful and relaxing time of day. The smaller group gave a more personal, unhurried experience. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely time overall on the Mizithres Sunset Cruise and Turtle Watching tour. The scenery was absolutely stunning and the sunset at sea was a highlight. We really appreciated the convenience of hotel pick-up and drop-off, which made the experience smooth from the start. Our guide, Dimitris, was kind and knowledgeable. The small group size (max 6 people) was a big plus too, much more personal and relaxed than a crowded boat tour. One of the most memorable moments was swimming alongside a sea turtle, truly special! However, there were a few things that could be improved. Despite the emphasis on "turtle watching" in the tour description, we only saw one turtle. While we understand wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed, the promotional material led us to expect more. Also, we didn’t stop at Turtle Island as advertised, no opportunity to walk on the beach, which was disappointing. Another issue was the seating. We were placed at the back of the boat, right behind the driver, and had to endure a strong fuel smell for most of the journey. It really affected our enjoyment until two fellow passengers kindly offered to swap spots. The back seats also offer a much poorer experience in general: the view is blocked, it's hard to take photos, and cave visits feel less immersive. It might be fair to offer those seats at a discounted rate or at least inform guests in advance. Overall, a beautiful tour with some unforgettable moments, but with a few tweaks it could be even better.
*update* I have recently spoken to the captain about your review. He has assured me that you and the other guests were offered a stop on turtle island but the group refused. The petrol smell is not from the boat its from the natural oil deposit that rises from the sea in the area of Keri, again this smell is not from the boat but is a natural smell from the sea. We use this boat for all our tours and no one has ever noticed an oil smell before or since. Sorry for any confusion or misunderstanding. We would love to welcome you back again one day for another tour with us. The sunset cruise was absolutely beautiful. The boat was small and personal, just six of us on board. Pickup was quick and easy. The views were incredible, the sunset was magical, and we explored stunning caves and hidden coves along the way. The friendly captain made the whole experience even more special.

Because the first day tour went so well, I booked the evening tour here too!🌄 We were honestly told that we would then sail partly along the same coast... Despite this, we still booked because a tour during the day is different than in the evening anyway. And so it is! They are really 2 recommendations, I would avoid them both books disappointments. How we enjoyed (along with a couple) the Mood, swimming in the crystal clear water. The unique places, special caves and really to top it off the fantastic sunset. Nice music was put on at appropriate times. The captain showed us the most beautiful (sometimes really hidden) spots, provided us with special facts. Nature was treated with respect. There was plenty of time to enjoy and swim. Of course I also saw a turtle! These trips have had a large part in our holiday enjoyment on the beautiful Zakyntos! 🩵🤍

Can’t recommend this tour enough, Dimitri picked us up and even on the drive was happy enough to answer questions about the island, his knowledge was fantastic and he is just super keen for you to have a good time, because it was later their were less boats and when we say our first turtle we got to swim and dive with it alone. Probably one of the best moment of our lives. We didn’t manage to see another turtle as it becomes harder as the sun drops but Dimitri took us around the caves and saw one of the most beautiful caves or places I have been. The kids loved it, diving under rocks and hidden entrances in the crystal clear waters. My eldest began to feel sick so we had to head back but even then Dimitri was still keen for us to get a final turtle, and tried everything he could. The boat tour was an absolute highlight of our holiday! We started in Laganas and drove along the beautiful south coast of Zakynthos – past Marathonisi and several wonderful coves. Our boater was super friendly and showed us great spots for swimming. We even saw two sea turtles! To top it all off, we were able to experience a breathtaking sunset at the impressive Myzithres rocks. A tour we will never forget – highly recommended!

We booked a 4 hour boat trip consisting of turtle spotting, stop over at turtle island, visit the blue caves and finished off with watching the sun set at Mizithres rocks all for 60 Euros each it was definitely worth the money. We booked with Ian Roberts, who works with the Diana Group Hotels he was helpful in picking the right tour for us. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable about the turtles and everywhere we visited. The boat seated 6 people, so it was a personal experience. I would definitely recommend this excursion it great value for money. It was a fantastic way to finish our holiday.
