Geniet tijdens dit 8-9 uur durende programma van een van de beste uitzichten in Zakopane met een kabelbaanrit naar Gubałówka. Bewonder het spectaculaire uitzicht op de Hoge Tatra, die tot mei bedekt is met sneeuw. Bezoek Krupówki, de meest populaire straat in het hart van Zakopane, waar u de sfeer van het bergachtige gebied kunt ervaren en kunt genieten van de smaken van lokale gerechten uit de traditionele restaurants.

Bezoek Zakopane en de Poolse bergen. Ervaar een unieke stijl van architectuur, kleding en eten. Proef traditionele gerookte kaas. Geniet van het prachtige uitzicht op de Poolse bergen vanuit de kabelbaan. Bezoek het historische houten dorp. Bekijk de skischansen van het WK. Dit is een dagtour van ongeveer 11 uur.
Op ongeveer 20 minuten van Zakopane ligt het houten dorpje Chochołów. Dit dorp staat bekend om de houten huizen die er bijna identiek uitzien. Kolonisten wasten traditioneel de houten muren van gebouwen met zeepsop. Ze doen het twee keer per jaar voor Kerstmis en Pasen. Hierdoor zien vele jaren oude gebouwen er als nieuw uit. In de buurt van Chochołów op de open plekken zijn er plaatsen waar hooglanders schapenkaas produceren, wat traditioneel is voor deze regio van Polen. Deze kaas wordt "Oscypek" genoemd. Als onderdeel van de reis bezoekt u deze plek en leert u de productiegeschiedenis en de smaak van deze kaas kennen.
In de stad Zakopane is een kabelbaan waarmee je naar de top van de berg Gubałówka kunt klimmen. Het bovenste station ligt op een hoogte van 1.126 m boven zeeniveau. vanaf de heuvel biedt een prachtig uitzicht op het Poolse Tatra-landschap. Er zijn ook veel toeristische attracties, evenals restaurants en cafés waar u glühwein kunt proeven en kunt ontspannen met uitzicht op het berglandschap.
De beroemdste straat in Zakopane met traditionele bazaars en restaurants en cafés. Je hebt hier wat vrije tijd.

Good little day trip. Enjoyed the Funicular and eating at the Pajak Restaurant. Breathtaking mountain views. Shops were touristy souvenir shops - there were a lot of them!!! Did buy an embroidered bag. Hotel pickup and drop off was very smooth. Ride was pleasant.
Tom was excellent,very friendly,humoristic,really helpful and provided us with a lot of historical information about Poland, traditions,people, shared a lot of videos,photos and recommendations for cafes and restaurants!!!!
Our day trip to Zakopane was unforgettable, and much of that is thanks to our incredible tour guide Bart. From the moment we arrived, they brought the region’s rich culture and stunning landscapes to life. Their deep knowledge of local history and traditions made every stop meaningful, whether we were exploring.

I would highly recommend this trip to Zakopane and especially our driver and guide Casper! First, the tour was fantastic and the drive from Krakow was easy and enjoyable! Seeing the Wooden Church, ski jump, Zakopane, wooden villages, etc would not have been easy on our own without the tour. It felt like there was a good amount of time spent at each location and it made for a seem less experience! The restaurant with the view of the mountain was great too! Our guide Casper was great and he did an incredible job sharing information about the locations while also providing a fun experience for us! He has us laughing many times and he greatly added to our experience! Next time we are in Poland we would love to have another tour led by Casper! I would say to book this tour if you want to see a lot of southern Poland in one day without feeling the stress of planning each spot on your own! And make sure to ask for Casper!

Tom was the most enthusiastic and fun guide. Full of information and stories about Poland. His love for his country came through in his energy. He was extremely helpful. This tour was definitely worth it! Everything was well planned, with just the right amount of time at each stop. The places we visited and the activities were amazing. Tom was a fantastic guide – friendly, warm, attentive and always full of positive energy. He made everyone feel comfortable, and spending the day with him felt less like being on a guided tour and more like spending the day with a good friend. We couldn't have asked for a better guide!
