Tijdens deze avontuurlijke tour van een hele dag van Krakau naar Zuid-Polen ontdek je de authentieke lokale manier van leven. Proef lokale lekkernijen zoals schapenkaas (oscypek) en regionale sterke dranken. Verken het hart van Zakopane aan de Krupówkistraat en beklim vervolgens Gubałówka met een moderne kabelbaan voor een adembenemend uitzicht op de Tatra. Geniet van vrije tijd om van de Poolse keuken te genieten of maak een ontspannen wandeling en ontsnap aan de toeristische plekken. Onze chauffeur haalt u op bij uw hotel in Krakau en zorgt voor een comfortabele en veilige reis. Geen zorgen over tickets of wachtrijen, wij regelen het allemaal. De chauffeur haalt u op van de plaats in Krakau die u heeft gekozen bij het maken van uw reservering. Wacht op hem voor de hoofdingang van het hotel/appartement op het afgesproken tijdstip (of beter een paar minuten eerder).
Vervoer Krakau -> Zakopane
Op weg naar Zakopane bezoekt u de plaats waar een van de meest unieke kazen ter wereld wordt gemaakt. Hooglanders - lokale kolonisten, beroemd om hun handmatige productie van "oscypek". Het is een soort rookkaas gemaakt van schapenmelk. De houten huizen waar deze kaas wordt geproduceerd heten "Bacówki". In zo'n klein houten hutje kun je verschillende soorten van deze kaas proberen, met verschillende rookgraden, en leren hoe hij wordt gemaakt.

In Zakopane is het absoluut noodzakelijk om de kabelbaan naar de top van Gubałówka (1123 m hoogte) te nemen. Met een moderne auto met glazen dak kan de spoorlijn omhoog klimmen, waarbij je heerlijk kunt genieten van de overduidelijke indeling van de Tatra-vegetatie met de toppen van hoge bergen in Polen. Er zijn vele attracties op de top, vooral een prachtig panorama van het Tatra-gebergte, een ononderbroken uitzicht op de berg Zakopane gelegen aan de voet van de berg en de mogelijkheid om te ontspannen in de zon. Op 06.10 - 10.10 zal de Gubałówka kabelbaan gesloten zijn wegens onderhoudswerkzaamheden. In plaats daarvan zal onze tour zo hoog mogelijk met de auto reizen en een korte wandeling maken naar het uitzichtpunt. Als compensatie krijgen onze gasten een lunchbox naar keuze, op onze kosten en daarnaast is er een glühweinproeverij. We nemen voor de tour contact met je op via WhatsApp of e-mail om je favoriete lunchbox te bespreken.
Er wordt aangenomen dat Zakopane het hart van het Tatragebergte is, en Kropówki is het hart van Zakopane. Je bezoekt deze populairste wandelstraat, die tegelijkertijd een specifiek stadsplein en middelpunt is. Op elk moment van het jaar is de Krupówkistraat druk met toeristen die winkels bezoeken en naar regionale restaurants langs de straat gaan. In deze straat kun je veel traditionele Hooglanderartikelen kopen, zoals kleding en souvenirs. Je hebt vrije tijd om Zakopane op eigen gelegenheid te leren kennen. Begin vanuit Krupówki en neem de tijd om andere bezienswaardigheden in de stad te vinden.

Fine trip that was very well organised and with a great guide. And nice to end the trip with the thermal baths. However too many souvenir-shops for my taste in Zakopane and on top of the funicular ride.

Great experience. Really good admission fee for the day trip. Length of visit about 10.5 hours from 8.25am pick up to 7pm drop off. Really good atmosphere and mini bus ride of about 20 people. Stepan (apologise if spelt wrong) was a great guide and Lucas was a great driver. About 1.5 hour drive out of Krakow then stops to see the wooden house, goat cheese and vodka tasting and then into Zakopane. There is a funicular up to the mountain at Zakopane and then the town to explore it was definitely more crowded at the top of the mountain but a lovely view. The thermal spa was a highlight lots of areas to explore and the 16+ area was so relaxing and chill!

We had heard so much about Zakopane and decided to take a tour rather than go by train. So glad we did! It was door to door service with excellent communication ahead of the pick-up point from our guide and driver Pawel. There were 7 of us in his spacious, immaculate vehicle and three different variations of the tour represented by all 7 passengers. Pawel was courteous, patient, accommodating throughout the day. He had excellent local knowledge and entertained us with facts and anecdotes as we headed towards Zakopane. We had a comfort stop, a stop off at a UNESCO village famed for its wooden houses and we got into one to observe a wood carver at work and another stop at a shepherds hut to sample smoked cheese and vodka! We were brought to the funicular railway in Zakopane and Pawel sorted out our tickets. We hadn’t opted to attend the thermal spa but those who did were given time to enjoy the sights at the magnificent viewpoint overlooking the Tatra mountains before Pawel drove them to the spa. Had we gone by train we would have missed out on so much. The price seemed expensive compared to public transport but we had a wonderful day full of rich experiences and made new friendships with our fellow passengers. We’ve always enjoyed escorted tours on previous holidays in Europe and this one was up there with the best days out at around £67 per head. It was approximately 12 hours from start to finish, in a very comfortable vehicle with an excellent guide. In context, Thousand Miles charged us the same as some golf buggy tours around the Old Town which lasted 1.5 hours! And the same price as a 30 minute trot in a horse drawn carriage around the square! Definitely recommend this trip with this company.
