Uw tour begint bij Wine Garden Zadar, een gezellige binnenplaats verscholen naast de stadsmarkt. Hier ontmoet je je gids en begin je je tour op de Dalmatische manier - met koffie en prosciutto.
Bij Trznica Zadar duik je in de levendige openluchtmarkt van de stad, omringd door de kleuren en energie van het dagelijks leven. Hier proeft u authentieke Pag-kaas en seizoensgebonden lokale lekkernijen, ontmoet u vriendelijke verkopers en ervaart u de smaken die Dalmatië kenmerken. Het is de perfecte plek om de echte sfeer van de eetcultuur van Zadar te proeven, te verkennen en op te snuiven.
Op Siroka Ulica, de bruisende hoofdstraat van Zadar, pauzeert u om te genieten van ambachtelijke gelato gemaakt met natuurlijke ingrediënten. Bij de Zongroet bezoek je een van de meest unieke bezienswaardigheden van Zadar. Deze moderne installatie vangt de energie van de zon op en transformeert deze in een oogverblindende lichtshow, direct aan het water. Het is een perfecte plek om te genieten van het uitzicht op zee en maak een aantal onvergetelijke foto's.
Bij het Zeeorgel ervaar je het beroemde muzikale herkenningspunt van Zadar, waar de golven natuurlijke melodieën creëren door verborgen pijpen langs de waterkant. Het is een unieke plek om te ontspannen, te luisteren naar het lied van de zee en jezelf onder te dompelen in je omgeving.

A wonderful way to enjoy Zadar. We started our adventure in the morning produce market, moved to a wonderful small shop for meats & cheese & several other spots for local favorites. Along the way, Niko & Masha shared the history of Zadar & customs & culture of Croatia. On a hot day we were out of the sun & enjoyed different delicacies we’d been missing on our ship.

We had an amazing food tour and it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! Maša was a fantastic guide, she was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the local culture and, of course, local cuisine. Mosha and her partner Nikko went above and beyond on our Zadar food tour...they were excellent!!!! They were so knowledgeable about food as both, we learned, love to cook and are from Zadar and took us to sensational restaurants. In between, they gave us such an indepth historical tour... Nikko, her ASSISTANT, is a history major and was able to share real time stories and events! Best thing (besides the food expertise and knowledge, is that we laughed so much and just had a blast! The food tour in Zadar was absolutely fantastic and exceeded all our expectations! From the first moment the atmosphere was warm and authentic. Our guide was not only very friendly and professional, but also incredibly knowledgeable – he inspired us with exciting stories about the city, its culture and of course the food. We were able to taste a variety of traditional Dalmatian specialties – fresh fish, local cheese, homemade ham, olive oil, wine and much more. Each station was unique and carefully selected. We were particularly impressed by the quality and freshness of the products as well as the close connection to the region. In addition to the food, the walk through the old town of Zadar was also a real highlight. We discovered hidden corners that we would otherwise have simply passed.
