Vanuit Amsterdam brengen wij u met de bus naar het typische vissersdorp Volendam. Na een oriëntatiewandeling van 20 minuten met onze live Gids heb je wat vrije tijd om de stad op eigen houtje te verkennen.
U krijgt de kans om te zien hoe wereldberoemde kaas wordt gemaakt. En natuurlijk om wat kaas te proeven.
Bekijk live demonstraties van ambachtslieden aan het werk, waaronder een klompenmaker die de beroemde klompen van Nederland maakt.
Eerste stop is het windmolendorp Zaanse Schans, waar u nog functionerende windmolens en typische houten huizen kunt bewonderen. Ook kunt u een klompenmaker aan het werk zien, die de beroemde klompen van Nederland maakt.
Indien geselecteerd is de tour inclusief een open vertrekticket voor de populaire Amsterdam Canal Cruise. Het ticket wordt verstrekt tijdens de tour check-in. De rondvaart wordt verzorgd door Stromma, met vertreklocaties op het Damrak en Centraal Station. De rondvaart begint in hartje Amsterdam vlakbij het Centraal Station. Routes variëren afhankelijk van het grachtenverkeer, maar je ziet de 17e-eeuwse grachten, waaronder de Herengracht, Keizersgracht en Prinsengracht, die op de UNESCO-lijst staan, samen met de iconische architectuur van de stad. De cruise is inclusief een audio Gids in 19 talen en commentaar van de kapitein.

- Houd er rekening mee dat de tourbus op korte loopafstand staat. Na het inchecken zullen gasten ongeveer 7 minuten lopen met de Gids naar het instapgebied van de bus.
- Kinderwagens en bagage kunnen worden ondergebracht in het opbergvak onder de touringcarbus. Houd er rekening mee dat het meenemen van deze items op eigen risico is en dat de tourorganisatie geen aansprakelijkheid aanvaardt voor persoonlijke eigendommen.
- Als de optie Canal Cruise is geselecteerd, ontvangt u bij het inchecken een onafhankelijke voucher. Deze cruise is niet verbonden met de bustour; het is een aparte voucher die geldig is voor gebruik op uw eigen gemak gedurende de volgende dagen

We got lost going to the meeting point so we did not make the tour.
The map shows a different pick up location. but it's still at Central Station Then you walk a quick 10 minutes to the bus. The guide is very good. We were glad to see the countryside and the windmills.
This was a ho-hum tour in an older, noisy, rattling bus that had major issues with the sound system. We couldn't hear any of the guide's comments and asked him to turn it up and fix the static, but nothing improved. Very disappointing stops - touristy spots, not the 'real Netherlands'.
Very enjoyable day seeing a little bit of everything traditionally Dutch. Well organised and everything kept to time.
The trip was great. Our guide, Rob, was very knowledgeable. My only complaint is that the information on where to meet was not correct. We used Google Maps using the address given and it took us in a different direction than where we need to go. We finally asked a local and got to the meeting site. Others on the trip had the same problem. Otherwise we had a very nice trip and would recommend it.
Rushed and commercial. We saw some great sites, but didn’t have enough time at any of them to enjoy them. We were rushed in, encouraged to buy things, and then rushed out.
Nice trip with stops in the fishing village and the windmills/cheese. However, the bus provider the tour used supplied a bus that was very dirty inside and had bottles and other trash left from an earlier trip(s).

Windmills, cheese, shoes, seaside. All included and very nice overview of Netherland customs. Volendam was a very nice seaside community to stop for lunch and enjoy the views. Walked on and drove along dikes and heard about the city and effects of water. Tour was 5 hours. Could have used 6 to spend more time at the windmill museum. We did leave a little late, ending late. Canal tour scheduled afterwards and was a push to make. (Scheduled 45 minutes after scheduled end of the tour.) I would recommend this tour for an overview of the countryside and Dutch customs.

A pleasant bus trip to Zaanse Schans, visiting a cheese producer, a wooden shoe maker, the village of Volendam, and the village of Zaanse Schans. Our tour guide had to provide explanations in two languages (English and German) - it was a bit tedious. Overall, it was far too short, with little time for sightseeing and also for lunch.
