Wij zijn 100% Alaskan eigendom & beheerd - Onze focus is op het geven van u een geweldige ervaring in Skagway op uw reis naar The Yukon en British Columbia. In tegenstelling tot de andere attracties in Skagway, stoppen we onderweg en leggen we uit waar je naar kijkt en zijn geschiedenis aan Skagway, Alaska en de Yukon. Onderweg zien we tal van valleien, rivieren, watervallen en wilde dieren uit Alaska. De tour gaat verder over de Klondike Highway naar een afgelegen sledehondenkamp in de Canadese toendra, waar je kunt spelen met sledehondenpuppies en hun trainers en begeleiders kunt ontmoeten. Je zult hier geen haast hebben of beperkt speeltijd hebben! Onze "Yukon Husky Puppy Playtime" en "Summer Sled Dog Remote Yukon Camp" tours bieden bijna identieke ervaringen, met het enige verschil dat de Summer Sled Dog tour een spannende rit op een zomer sledehond winkelwagen getrokken door onze husky's omvat, terwijl de Yukon Husky Puppy Playtime tour niet beschikt over de winkelwagen rijden.

We nemen je mee langs enkele van de beroemde locaties van Skagway langs Broadway en langs historische punten in de stad
Pitchfork Falls is een cascade van 2000 voet in de Skagway-rivier, zichtbaar vanaf de Klondike Highway tussen Skagway, Alaska en de grens met British Columbia. De watervallen gaan onder een spoorbrug van de White Pass en Yukon Railway door
We stoppen bij verschillende gebouwen en schilderachtige punten van de Klondike Gold Rush, waaronder de White Pass en punten langs de Klondike Highway als we naar Canada (British Columbia en The Yukon) gaan
Dit is het grootste deel van onze tour! Hier kun je spelen met toekomstige Iditarod & Yukon Quest-kampioenen - en mogelijk zelfs musher Michelle Phillips of Ed Hopkins ontmoeten! Terwijl je in hun kamp bent, kun je met de honden spelen en aaien, tijd doorbrengen met haar begeleiders en trainers en meer te weten komen over de races. Het hondensledekamp herbergt ook een kleine souvenirwinkel en toiletten. Deze tour omvat NIET de educatieve discussie of slee-activiteit - boek onze andere tour of vraag naar de upgrade zodra je in de bus stapt.

TOURAANBIEDER : Skagway Tours INCHECKTIJD : 15 minuten voor aanvang van uw tour VERGADERLOCATIE : Buslaadruimte in de buurt van uw schip Uw cruiseschip zal aankomen op een van de drie locaties in de haven van Skagway : het ORE Dock, BROADWAY Dock of het RAILROAD Dock.15 minuten voor uw tour zal een Skagway Tours vertegenwoordiger met een rood bord “Skagway Tours” u opwachten bij de laadplaats van uw dok. BELANGRIJK : Gebruik geen Google of Apple Maps, of de kaartlink die door Viator wordt aangeboden. Deze sturen u naar ons kantoor in de stad of het kantoor van de havenmeester. Wij halen u op bij de buslaadplaats bij uw schip. PASPOORTEN VERPLICHT : Deze tour gaat twee keer de grens tussen de VS en Canada over. Paspoorten zijn vereist. Gasten zonder de juiste documentatie wordt deelname geweigerd zonder restitutie. Voor Amerikaanse of Canadese burgers zijn een door de overheid uitgegeven identiteitsbewijs en originele geboorteakte (geen fotokopieën) ook geldig voor toegang. VISA. Als u uit een land komt dat een visum voor Canada of de VS nodig heeft, moet u deze meenemen naast uw paspoort. BELANGRIJK : Het personeel van de cruisemaatschappij kan ten onrechte zeggen dat paspoorten niet nodig zijn in Skagway, AK. U MOET uw paspoort of geldig legitimatiebewijs meenemen vanwege de grensovergang.

We had an amazing afternoon on this tour! Our guide, Grace, was great. Her stories about living in Alaska were one of the highlights. She also knew great places to stop for photos. The highlight was the puppies. They had 3 litters- 1 set of Alaskan huskies and 2 litters of foster puppies. About 15 puppies total. There was a small gift shop with some snacks. They accepted credit cards. Recommend bringing a little cash, you can buy treats from a jar 4 for $1.

There was a small gift shop with snacks and a few other things that takes credit cards. They also had a treat jar that you can buy dog treats 4 for $1 cash. This version of the trip does not include the ride on the cart pulled by the dogs - everyone else on our bus had booked that version. They all did that-we had more puppy time! We were still invited to listen to the talk about gear, training and the Iditarod. Our guide Grace was very good. We enjoyed her stories of life in Alaska. She also knew great places to stop for photos. We didn’t have any trouble finding the meeting point. The tour company sent detailed instructions.
For me, and my family (my husband, 12-year-old and 10-year-old daughters) we all agreed that this was just OK. I'm mainly talking about the "puppy play time". It was more like "watch puppies lay around and sleep" time. I absolutely LOVED the scenic drive up there and learning about Skagway. Our tour guide, Grace, was incredible! She stopped at all the scenic viewpoints and was super sweet and chatty (the right amount of chatty). I loved hearing about her own adventures with her own dog. But the puppy play time was absolutely not worth the money IMO. I was expecting more playing/interacting and less sleeping (from the puppies). I wouldn't pick this one again.
Grace was a wealth of knowledge and the tour was exactly as described! We had a great time and enjoyed learning about Skagway and Graces adventures. The puppies were adorable as well.
Trey was OUTSTANDING! He was one of the best guides we have ever had. Her kept the entire group engaged and entertained the entire time. There was a lot of time with the pups and the staff at the camp was very friendly. We were concerned that the trip might be redundant after taking the White Pass Railway earlier but this trip gave us entire different views and a few stops for pictures. I would highly recommend this even if you took the train. This was truly a highlight of our trip.

This experience was absolutely amazing! The dogs and their owners were so sweet! I loved seeing how happy they were.
It was a great tour and we got to see everything we were expecting. Mariah was a fantastic tour guide and gave us ample time at all the spots to get pictures. The sledding camp was the highlight of the tour. The puppies, and big dogs, are just the best and can cheer anyone up! If you want to see the Welcome to Alaska sign, this is the tour to take.
Mariah was a great tour guide. The drive out to the puppies and back was scenic and informative as well as entertaining. She was great and the puppies were a lot of fun.
Great experience. Just didn’t realize we’d be in the bus so long/much. Great guide, great views, great to play with the puppies.
