We nemen je mee naar synagogen en de Oude Joodse begraafplaats waar je hoort over het tragische lot van het gebied dat nu Josefov heet, en vooral het Joodse volk dat er vroeger woonde. De bezienswaardigheden die tot op de dag van vandaag bewaard zijn gebleven, staan als de laatste overlevende helden die hun getuigenis geven over de Josefov-gemeenschap vanaf het begin van de nederzetting in de 11e eeuw tot nu.

Jewish Museum bestaat uit alle bezienswaardigheden die Jewish Quarter te bieden heeft. We zullen de synagogen, de beroemde oude Joodse begraafplaats betreden en die de geschiedenis van de Joodse gemeenschap in de Tsjechische landen bestrijken.

The Jewish Quarter is a must see location for any traveler to Prague. Being on a private tour makes it even more personal and can then be focused on the interests and perspective of the traveler. Highly recommend.
I signed up for a tour of the Jewish quarter in Prague, in the Czech Republic. Our tour guide was Martina and she was excellent. Very knowledgeable and comprehensive. She met us at our hotel at 10 AM and we were off! She speaks English very very well and seemed to know what I would be interested in without me telling her. I wouldn't have know it myself if I had thought about it. Her narrative was steady, thoughtful, with nuance and detail. We were indeed lucky to have had her. We saw the Miesl Synagogue, the Pinchas Synagogue, the Spanish Synagogue from outside and the inside was closed for renovation, and the Old/New Synagogue. We also saw the Jewish Museum and the Jewish Cemetery. I don't know what I expected, but I came away with a strong, deep feeling of connectedness to Prague and to the Jewish Quarter.The few questions I had were answered directly with warmth and a clearly formidable intellect. I heartily enthusiastically recommend this tour with this tour guide!!!
