Yala National Park Safari vanuit Weligama
Beschrijving
U begint uw tour vanuit Weligama om 10:30 uur. Uw chauffeur haalt u op bij uw hotel en rijdt u naar Yala. Daarna gaat u naar Yala National Park om 14:00 uur waar u uw safari jeep ontmoet om op een prachtige jeepsafari te gaan. Geniet van een drie uur durende safari die u de kans geeft om het geweldige Yala National Park te verkennen, het op een na grootste van het eiland voor de zuidoostkust van Sri Lanka. Krijg de kans om de beroemde Sri Lankaanse luipaarden, inheemse wilde waterbuffels, Sri Lankaanse luiaardbeer en grote kuddes Sri Lankaanse olifanten te zien. Het park is ook de thuisbasis van vele andere soorten zoogdieren, vogels, reptielen, amfibieën, vissen en ongewervelden. Na de safari keert u terug naar uw voertuig en bent u om 21.00 uur terug bij het hotel, om uw tour te voltooien.

Je begint je tour vanuit Weligama om 11:00 uur. Uw chauffeur haalt u op bij uw hotel en brengt u naar Udawalawe.
Je bereikt de Yala om 13.30 uur en luncht in een lokaal restaurant. (op eigen kosten) Ga daarna om 14.30 uur naar Yala National Park, waar u uw safari-jeep ontmoet voor een mooie jeepsafari. Geniet van een drie uur durende safari die je de kans geeft om het verbazingwekkende Yala National Park te verkennen, het op één na grootste van het eiland, gelegen voor de zuidoostelijke kust van Sri Lanka. Krijg de kans om de beroemde Sri Lankaanse luipaarden, inheemse wilde waterbuffels, Sri Lankaanse luiaardberen en grote kuddes Sri Lankaanse olifanten te zien. Het park herbergt ook vele andere soorten zoogdieren, vogels, reptielen, amfibieën, vissen en ongewervelde dieren. Na de safari keert u terug naar uw voertuig en bent u om 21.00 uur terug in het hotel, waarmee u uw tour voltooit.

What an amazing experience! The pick up, drive, safari and return were all perfect! Driver to and from Hotel/Yala was so amazing! Smooth and easy. The safari guide stopped and explained everything. He must have done this a million times but knew it was our first! He was patient and stopped for so many animals!!! Sooooo worth the time and money. Can’t recommend it enough!

Had a good visit to Yala National Park. Got picked up promptly at 3 30 am as we opted for a morning game drive. Entered that park at 6 and spent 4 hours. Saw the wildlife in the park, missed the leopard sighting, am sure that’s a luck of the draw !!!

I went today on this safari and it turned out to be a complete scam. The driver did not speak at all english, he knew nothing about the animals, he just stopped where he saw ohter cars. He didn't buy us the bottle of water that is included in the price & said that he cannot stop for us to buy lunch. We ended up not eating 10 hours and seeing mostly birds & 4 elephants. It's not a safari tour, rather some beachboys looking to make easy money. Do not recommend
Had a driver for our safari ride with an unbelievable eye for hidden animals. We saw just about everything minus the “lucky leopard”. This is an experience you don’t want to miss if you are in Sri Lanka.

Awesome experience, great guide who was very knowledgeable, lots of animals to see including a leopard. Highly recommended this tour.
