Op deze dag heb je een vogeluitzicht op het verbazingwekkende landschap van de heuvels en rivieren op de top van een berg, dwaal je door de eeuwenoude straat langs de Li-rivier, probeer je lokale specialiteiten en snacks. Bovendien maak je een fietstocht naar het mooie en rustige lokale dorp Yangshuo. Ontsnap aan de drukte van de stad en beleef een heerlijke dag!

Het beklimmen van meer dan honderd treden duurt normaal gesproken 10-15 minuten. Wanneer je op de top bent, zul je versteld staan van het geweldige uitzicht op het prachtige karstlandschap dat zich afspeelt als talloze heuvels rond de Li-rivier. Als je een sluiter bent, is dit een van de beste plekken voor foto's van het adembenemende uitzicht over de bocht in de Li-rivier. Daar werden tienduizenden bekroonde foto's gemaakt. Je ziet de zee van wolken rond de heuvels en rivieren - het is een adembenemend uitzicht.
Je neemt een veerboot van 8 minuten over de Li-rivier met lokale dorpelingen naar de andere kant. In de buurt van Yangshuo is het dorp Xingping meer dan 1000 jaar oud en herbergt het een aantal historische woningen. Als je hier af en toe op marktdag komt, komt het dorp tot leven. Trouwens, Xingping is ook de locatie van de foto op de achterkant van bankbiljetten van 20 yuan. Lunch is niet inbegrepen bij deze tour. Ik raad je ten zeerste aan om lokale specialiteiten te proberen, zoals biervis en gevulde guilin-slakken. Yulong River een zijrivier van de Li-rivier, kleiner en rustiger. Fietsen is een van de beste manieren om dicht bij het platteland van Yangshuo te komen. Volg de prachtige Yulong-rivier langs rijstvelden, wentelende waterbuffels en boerengewassen. De velden variëren in kleuren volgens de wisseling van de seizoenen. Fietspad is vlak, op de fiets is voor de meeste mensen makkelijk. Als je op zoek bent naar een meer comfortabele manier om te touren, raad ik je aan om een elektrische scooter te kiezen. Geen gemotoriseerd vlot, en roeien door een echte bamboevlotman. Rustig en nonchalant raften op de prachtige Yulong-rivier. Op beide oevers zie je de heuvels in verschillende vormen. Langs de rivier staan dikke bamboes en de bananenbomen zijn in vier seizoenen groen. Essentieel raftinggedeelte: Shui E Di 水厄底 - Gonnong-brug 工农桥 (Duur: 40 minuten), Prijs: RMB 160 per vlot. De hotel- en afzetgebieden bevinden zich in de stedelijke gebieden van Guilin en Yangshuo. In de stad Guilin moet de hotel- en drop-off-zone binnen het volgende gebied liggen: de noordkant is Beijiguangchang / 北极 广场, de westkant is West Hill Park / 西山 公园, de oostkant is Sanlidian Square / 三 里 店 广场 en de zuidkant is Wonderful Plaza / 万福 广场. De meeste van de grote hotels bevinden zich in deze gebieden, zoals The Sheraton Hotel, The Shangri-la Hotel, The Li River Waterfall Hotel en Guilin Bravo Hotel enz. Voor verdere afstanden, moet u een taxi huren bij het aangewezen hotel, dat uw reisleider u de dag vóór de reis zal vertellen.

- Xianggong Hill kan tijdelijk worden gesloten vanwege overheidsactiviteiten, waarover we NIET vooraf kunnen worden geïnformeerd. We kunnen in plaats daarvan Cuiping Five Fingers Mountain regelen, die zich in de buurt van de stad Putao bevindt, 22 km ten noorden van Yangshuo. Cuiping Wuzhishan (Wuzhi Hill) is een leuke plek om zonsondergangfoto's te maken. Het duurt ongeveer 20 minuten om omhoog te klimmen en je fotografeert tal van karst bergtoppen en enkele dorpen met veel rijstvelden omgeven door een rivier. Een prachtige plek om niet te missen in Yangshuo. De gids kan de reisroute aanpassen aan de huidige situatie.

It was very convenient; We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel. our tour guide trace was knowledgeable and professional, and had great recommendations for food. Booked the tour for my family of 5 and we got a private tour! Gary, our tour guide, was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. He shared not only historical and cultural anecdotes of the places we visited, but also his personal experiences, heritage, and background — which added a nice personal touch to the tour. We went to the main attractions in Yangshuo — climbing up Xianggong Hill for a breathtaking view of the Guilin karst hills, visiting the quaint Xingping Ancient Town for lunch, and walking along the riverbank of the Yulong River for a sneak peek at rural life. The pace was laidback and we had plenty of time to really soak in the atmosphere at each spot. The tour was overall very good. I was picked up on time from my accommodation and the whole journey was very smooth. The different places we visited were indeed very beautiful and the guide had information to share about them. I was supposed to be in a small group but nobody else joined. I had a train to catch later and I was delivered at the train station also perfectly on time.

I had so much fun on this tour, my guide Lily was amazing and made sure we had a good time and were taken care of. She even helped us get train tickets at the station for our next day departure. The mountains throughout the region were beautiful and the activities of boating on the river, scootering along the rice fields and going up the hill highlighted the scenery nicely. This was my third trip with trippest and will use them again. I definitely recommend this tour and trippest as a whole!

Easy on time pick-up from our hotel. All activities were well organised - Lily altered itinerary sequence to ensure we had the best experience - eg. we headed to the rafting first to ensure we experienced the beautiful river and mountain scenery before the crowds and cruise boats arrived. Lunch at the Secret Garden Restaurant was delicious and the bike-riding was a great experience. Views from Xianggong Hill were amazing. We never felt rushed and at no stage did we have to wait around or queue for ages. We chose not to head in to Yangshuo for dinner and the Show, but returned early evening to our Guilin hotel where Lily ensured there was somewhere we could enjoy dinner. The tour van driver was excellent. Lily was very informative and related well with all members of our small (5 person) group. It was a great day!

My wife and I went on this mini tour in late October 2019, and it was an amazing experience for us as first-time visitors to this area. The tour guide (Mr. Yang) was wonderful and provided excellent information about local habits-lifestyle and took us to a restaurant to eat some of their area famous food - sticky rice and chicken soup cooked in bamboo over a pitted fire - fabulous meal! We also stopped at the old town in Yangshuo during the day and while it was not as busy in the day, we were told that area is always bustling and jammed pack in the evenings. While the scenes were spectacular, Mr. Yang added to this very memorable trip for us with his wealth of information. Lili was our excellent guide. Our family of five had a bit of everything, driving, rafting, walking, and cycling. Beyond the expected guidance of the places and attractions we visited, Lili opened her heart and shared with us the challenges and triumphs of life in rural China. Lili was flexible to make changes that we asked for, such as deviations to local markets, off the path of the regular tour. Lili is an avid photographer and helped us with optimizing our photos from the area. I recommend the tour and Lili.

This is an excellent tour, though the risk is always that the weather won't be great - as was the case when I did the tour. That can mean visibility of the amazing scenery is limited. However full credit to tour guide Lily for ensuring that we visiting the key areas at the right times so that we made the best of the day. Being in a small group ensures great flexibility and scheduling changes to make the most from the day. And the knowledge and friendliness of Lily (as well as her photography skills) made this a memorable experience
