Attentie, waterliefhebbers! Het park is geopend van 8:30 tot 17:30 uur en heeft meer dan 50 attracties. In het natuurparadijs Xel-Há, gelegen aan de Riviera Maya, kunt u een geweldig jungle-avontuur beleven, terwijl u een lagune, cenotes, grotten en een verborgen strand verkent. U kunt fietsen rond het weelderige terrein of gewoon liggen in een binnenband en drijven langs de rivier. Xel-Ha wordt beschouwd als 's werelds grootste natuurlijke aquarium, het park biedt snorkelen tussen honderden tropische vissen en meer dan 90 mariene soorten die in de kreek leven. U ontvangt dan een polsbandje waarmee u het park kunt betreden. 7. U dient 15 minuten eerder op de door u toegewezen locatie aanwezig te zijn. Opmerkingen: A. Laat het ons weten als u geen vervoer nodig heeft. B. We kunnen niet garanderen dat we u ophalen bij een hotel waar u geen gast bent, aangezien sommige hotels beleid hebben dat bezoekers niet toestaat op het terrein. C. Als u op het moment dat u uw ticket koopt geen hotel heeft, moet u minimaal 24 uur vóór uw parkbezoek contact opnemen met de Viator-klantenservice om uw ophaalservice met ons te coördineren. D. It was a spectacular experience; we went for our 5th anniversary with my husband. From the moment they picked us up until the return, the dedication of the workers was evident. In the park, everything was absolutely beautiful. Despite it being seaweed season, they kept the waters as clean as possible. The food was delicious, we got the unlimited photo package, and it was the best decision since the photos are incredible. I definitely recommend it 1000/10; I will return soon, I am sure of that.

Don't book the tour with this and doing separate cenotes in the same day, it would be too much. You will want a full day at this park in itself. Overall a good day though, but when we were sold visiting "cenotes" then those were disappointing in comparison to others in the Yucatan. In the water park, they are actually replacing the signs which say cenotes with the word "caves" which are more fitting. The park claims to have 50 activities and our all inclusive isn't truly that, you have to pay for many extras, but things like snorkeling, lazy river, caves are included. I would say there is mainly about a dozen things to do total, but they probably are including platforms in the water, photo ops, etc as separate things-to-do. The children's play area was pretty nice with a small trail of elevated walkways to challenge the kids. The lifeguards there blow their whistle for about everything, even at adults. Lifejackets are mandatory everywhere when in the water, even in shallow areas. There are lifejackets for all ages (including infants) and people of all sizes and they are readily available throughout the entire park, so you don't have to carry them from stop to stop. The main buffet included in our all inclusive was decent, but the same dishes throughout the day from breakfast to dinner. If you want dinner you have to get there at least 30 minutes before they close because right at closing time there is a mad rush of employees packing it all up and throwing everything out. They cleanup everything in under 10 minutes, so don't go last minute and expect to eat. Even the ice cream runs out by the end of the day. The other smaller buffet restaurants were ok too for lunch, with less variety. The walk around the entire park is a few miles long so if you are on the far side of the lake, beyond the floating bridge then give yourself ample time to get back. If you decide to float down the lazy river to get back, the jump out point isn't clearly marked. But, you can (for free) leave your stuff in a locked bag, and they will bring it to the end of the lazy river (near the park entrance) so you don't have to worry about getting it all wet. The lazy river will take you 1+ hour to get through, if you don't stop so give yourself time to get back, change, eat, etc before you need to depart. I wouldn't suggest starting the lazy river after 2:30pm. We were in Cancun during a very slow season, so the lazy river was not that busy. The line for the water slide which goes around the "lighthouse" was less than 10 people when we got to the top (lots of stairs, no elevator). So it was nice to not have to wait in line. You would think the water slide would be fast, but it was much slower than I expected, other than the final drop at the end. Water shoes are allowed in most of the park and I would recommend having them, but they are not allowed on the water slide to prevent injury. Overall for the price per person it was kinda costly, but included transport which was helpful. The transport driver was mad at us because we were late to come out due to the baby having a poopy diaper, but with a 1+ hour transport we had to change him so the other vehicle passengers didn't need to smell it. He was speeding back afterward and got pulled over by the police and given a ticket which delayed us more returning.

Food was good but there were no bicycles to ride to the trails and no one explained the photo points of interest or the price until the end. We would've paid for the photo package had we taken photos at each spot.

Brilliant water park with so much to see and do. Everything is very well organised with conveniently spaced locker/shower stations and plenty of towels available (although the towels could have been bigger). Food and drink options are all great and the staff all welcoming and friendly. The grounds themselves are gorgeous and really pleasant to just walk around and enjoy. Worth the ticket price. Do ensure you have a waterproof phone case (to take lots of pictures) and some water shoes though.
